Would be great with a little work.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the cottage location and layout. It fit our family nicely. It does need a bit of maintenance and a lot of cleaning for me to recommend the property or return to the house.

The kitchen is tiny, no pantry to put food goods in for 9 people, shutters held together with zip ties, stains on furniture, no electrical outlet covering in dining/kitchen where children are, but bathrooms were very clean. Several of the kitchen ceiling lights were out, stovetop light was out, undercounter light was out. Good supply of hot water though.

Great stay!

The Avonlea Cottage was everything we expected and a little more. We would definitely book this cottage again. The pool and boardwalk to the ocean are two real pluses.

Fantastic house with plenty of room! Mary was so wonderful! She brought things by the house and was available anytime we had a question. Would highly recommend this house and team!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We vacationed with our family of 11 ages 63-2. I was a little disappointed with the house. The living/kitchen area is very cramped and the table only seats 8 so we couldn’t eat as a family. Avonlea could be such a cute house but needs a facelift and TLC. The first thing you see is an outlet with no cover and furniture that’s worn and needs cleaning and or replacing. I loved the area but disappointed in the house.

60th Birthday weekend

Short weekend trip for my wife's 60th birthday. Loved the house, great pool area and easy walk to the beach. Also walked to dinner both nights. Highly recommend.

Great house!

Avonlea is a great house! All 5 bedrooms had their own bath, making it perfect for our family group. The home is nicely furnished and super comfortable. I highly recommend!

Bathroom counters not clean. Overhead fans very dusty. Kitchen sink sprayer stuck. Bathroom floor missing numerous tiles. Front door lock did not always work. Bedrooms were okay. Some bathrooms extremely small. Utility closet on main floor was flooded and very dirty. Outside 'shower' was a cut off water hose.Mixed results on beds, felt mine was way past use by date. Some pillows were very hard. It was nice that all Bedrooms had baths. Door lock on first floor didn't work. Have to go through main bedroom on third floor to get to rooftop balcony where beach view was available. Outlet on main floor was missing a cover.

Wonderful House

Reserved for my family and a group of college friends, who were all in town for another college friend's wedding. The house was great and suited us well. Nice, short walk to a beautiful beach. Cold time of year, but still stunning.

Perfect for families!

This was our first family trip to the beach and this home was perfect for us. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space to escape to if needed. The kitchen could use some dishes and utensil updating - too few for the number of people but other than that we would definitely rent again. The rental company was easy to work with and quick to answer any questions. Loved our stay!!

Third stay at this lovely home. Enjoyed some recent upgrades in furnishings, etc. and is always a wonderful property. Owner is extremely hospitable. Look forward to a 2024 visit.

Great house, pools, beach

Great large house, a few steps from East Beach, great neighborhood pools, we had a wonderful stay. You need to bring your own soap and shampoo. Also if you stay more than a few days and have a large party, you will need to provide your own trash bags and dishwasher pods, annoying at this price point.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect rental for our annual multi family trip. With multiple king beds and a bathroom for each bedroom it made booking for next years trip a no brainer. The boardwalk to the beach made pulling wagons and beach gear so easy. Loved the location and community.

Great location, my family really enjoyed the house, pool, and beach. One negative was the first day walking to the beach from the pool, along the walkway we were attacked by large mosquitoes!!!! I guess they breed in the standing water along the way. Other than that it was good. Photo was take from rooftop.

We loved that there were three long sized beds with bathrooms. However, the floors/carpets were so dirty that our feet bottoms were black. The kitchen is small and doesn’t have a pantry. Some game options would have been nice.

Great location

Location was great! Parking for 2 cars, overflow wasn't too far away. The house was great for our group. However, the dishes, including pots, pans, utensils etc were not very clean. We had to wash everything we used. The towels were old and the linens had a bit of a musty smell to them. The table was very sticky too. There were multiple rooms with lightbulbs out as well. I don't want to give a horrible review, because the house really was in a great spot, cute and great beach/pool access. Just needs some freshening up in our opinion.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property needs some general maintenance. Kitchen stock was inadequate. Grill was literally falling apart due to rust when trying to grill... The grates collapsed when touching it. Couldn't cook burgers because the rust from the grates would stick to the food and then fall apart.
