Absolutley perfect stay! This is the most charming, cozy, comfy spot. Walking distance to lots of shops, eateries, and fun. We loved our stay so much! Would rate it in the top 5 of best ever, and we have stayed in tons of places, all over the US.

My husband and I had a fabulous anniversary trip. Aaron was a great communicator, accommodating and kind. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. We walked everywhere which was perfect. Enjoyed the museum and dinner/ breakfast at Caroline’s was amazing! Downtown city buzz was a bit loud at times but we didn’t mind. We would come back again! Incredible trip.

Girls Spa Getaway!!

The location of our stay was perfect for a quick little getaway weekend. It was prime location for so many yummy restaurants and bars for drinks! We enjoyed a spa retreat day at Potosa Spa and were able to easily unwind after. Communication was great with our host, no complaints at all. Will definitely come back!

Fantastic and spacious!

Aaron was very communicative and gave excellent entry instructions. Immediately I was blown away with the size of the place and the excellent location. We were a short walk from the aquarium, River walk, shops, and restaurants. Also highly recommend the farmers market on Saturdays. The place had everything we needed, felt super clean, and that balcony?? Perfection.

This is a great apartment in a nice location close to everything, in walking distance to several great places to eat. It was well stocked and very clean on arrival. We brought our fire stick and had no difficulty with the internet.It was about 20 minutes away from galena. The kitchen was rather large and was very well stocked, we didn't use the kitchen other then the coffee maker and the microwave but it all looked in great shape. There is a lot of closet space and counter space in the bathroom. There are a lot of stairs if you access from the front, none if you use the elevator, and these units are carved from a very old building with TONS of character, It is quirky, and we loved it,so different then the suburbia we live in. We had good communication from the hosts. If there was a con it would be that one night there was some street noise when the bars closed very early in the morning, and be aware the bed is very firm, and kinda low, It didn't hurt my back but wasn't very cozy, however my husband said it was just fine .We would stay here again, and thought it was a good value.

Lovely rental but noisy location

Overall, the rental was nicely decorated & clean, but, while we liked its proximity to downtown attractions, we didn't like how noisy the neighborhood was & just how late the nightlife continued. We expected some train & barge noise since the property is by the river, and we knew there would be some highway noise, but the volume was beyond our expectations. The rental has a nice deck, but you can't hold a conversation on it due to extreme noise level, so that is unfortunate. Also, the elevator from garage to rental unit is useful for luggage, but also slow, very small, & noisy. It emits a constant hum in the unit that can be annoying. The keyless entry takes several attempts before it actually opens or locks, but at least they do their best to try to make it a safe stay with two separate entry boxes. The owner/property manager is very good in responding to messages, & the rental comes with access to a garage, which is very nice. Overall, Pros= proximity to downtown attractions, cute, new decor, cleanliness, single slot garage parking available, comfortable furniture (other than bed), & nice coffeemaker with various coffee options. Cons= noisy location, nice but virtually unusuable deck unless you want to shout the whole time, thin walls between units, strange, extremely firm, uncomfortable mattress, & entry boxes that never worked to lock or unlock on first attempt. Well kept & cute, but getting any sleep was challenging. traffic noise,traffic noise, as the prpoerty

We loved everything about this place! It was clean & very comfortable. Dubuque is a neat city with lots of history & the location of this apartment is perfect. We've already decided we want to return sometime & would definitely stay here again!
