Jewel is top notch! It's going to be tough to find a more well appointed home. The construction next door is just about completed and hair dryers have been installed!

Haley, it was a pleasure meeting you and your friends during your stay. When we chatted, I heard nothing but praise for the property and find your feedback surprisingly unfortunate. For those reading this, please know that Haley was the first guest to ever stay in this amazing new property and as with most new homes it should be expected there may be a few wrinkles to iron out. That said, I think some clarification would be helpful for those considering a visit to Jewel. 1. This home is gulf front and directly on the beach. 2. The pool is spectacular and heat is available. We need some advanced notice of this expectation and gladly start the heater in advance the morning of arrival. In this case, there were unforeseen issues with the heater and we did everything possible to resolve them during this stay. 3. There were a total of over (26) pillows in the house. So, I'm not sure why that was not sufficient for a party of three adults and two children. (That's more than 5/person!) If you desired more, we would have gladly dropped them off had we know. 4. The linens are a 100% percale cotton. We offer the best available in the rental market and maintain them with great care. We do have some alternatives available which we could have dropped off if we had known. 5. The path to the beach is sandy with some native foliage. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) will not allow us to pour concrete to the water's edge. 6. We never heard a word about the elevator, but our staff did not have an issue with it after you departed. We also have not been able to reproduce the phone noise. If we had known, we would have easily instructed you on the simple use of this great feature. 7. The beach is never closed. Not sure why you thought it was closed, but again a simple phone call would have resolved this. 8. The construction next door was not something we could have predicted. It is, however, now beyond the framing phase and should make for a peaceful neighbor going forward. Haley, I hope your visit was sprinkled with a couple of positive memories. Renting a private (custom) home is not the same as staying at a full-service hotel. You must bring just a bit of adaptability for those features of a home which are custom and unique. Otherwise, just call and we will do it for you!!! I'm hopeful those reading this will filter this "glass half empty" feedback and choose Jewel for their next amazing beach vacation! Be Our Guest

We reached out a couple times, but Rick did not respond. We did not find any notes or correspondence from Rick while staying in this lovely property so, we are struggling a bit with the less than perfect review. While we appreciate the stay, we need feedback to correct any shortcomings. This home is the epitome of southern charm, enjoys unobstructed grand views of the Gulf over a private pool and has direct private beach access. Nothing but perfect in our opinion! Be Our Guest!
