Cute, clean, well maintained with an excellent location within blocks of dining, grocery, and the action of NYC. Management was very communicative, friendly and helpful. We had a great stay.

Family getaway

7 family members of all ages and from all across the country met up for a few day stay in NYC. The location is perfect and met our needs perfectly.

The apartment was in good shape and the location was great. The problem was how the host handled communication about maintenance access to the apartment during my stay.The host scheduled HVAC repairs while I was there, and sent a text about an hour beforehand, asking for confirmation that their team could enter. But I was fast asleep after travel delays and an overnight flight (which I’d told them about the day before), so I didn't see their text message or respond to it. I woke up to three men I didn't know, and wasn't expecting to be there, entering the apartment. I thought it was a break-in. Vrbo’s host entry policy requires a guest’s advance consent for non-emergency entry, and I hadn’t given it. I raised the issue with the host directly and asked for a partial refund as compensation for the unwelcome disturbance. They acknowledged my message and said they’d review the incident, but I never received an answer, and my last attempt to follow up went unanswered.I plan to report their unauthorized entry to Vrbo.

Great Family Stay at the center of Manhattan

We were family of four stayed at this lovely place at the center of everything including restaurants, coffee shops and close to central park. Management is very easy to communicate and modern checkin process using an app. I highly recommend this place to any family looking for more space to relax after day in the city. I will definitely stay here in the future.

Family vacation

This was a perfect location and the property was very comfortable. The family enjoyed our time. It can be a little loud during the day with traffic, but it was pretty quiet at night. Also, we had a hot water issue and the property manager fixed it right away. Very responsive. Check in was very easy. I highly recommend this property.

Nice apartment at 1st Ave and 63rd Street.

The apartment was as advertised, and the management team were very responsive. It was spotless when we arrived and fully equipped for comfort. It's on the first floor so from time to time there is outside street noise but nothing too much. Easy walk to Central Park and Mid-Town. We enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous apartment

Our apartment was in a part of New York City, where you could get anywhere easily. It was beautiful, extremely clean and comfortable. The management company was easy to contact and they had everything ready for us. When we arrived. We hope to stay there again in the near future. The only problem we had was the trip was too short. We will be back.

We loved our stay! There were six of us, ages 17 and up, and it was a perfect fit. My teenage boys slept comfortably on the pull-out couch, and the space felt surprisingly roomy for Manhattan. The location was fantastic, we felt safe the entire time, with easy access to the subway and just a short walk to Central Park. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions, which we really appreciated. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn there’s a place to store luggage after checkout, such a great perk that should definitely be mentioned in the listing! We had so much fun exploring NYC, and my kids got a little taste of city living. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Easy Condo

This was a good spot - easy to walk places or take the subway. The two level condo was good for our family with teens. I forgot how noisy NYC is at all times of day, but it is the city that never sleeps.

Great location, nice space

The place was the perfect size for our family and the location was perfect. The listing said 2.5 baths, but there was not a half bath. The place was clean, but some things seemed stained or scuffed. Overall for the price it was worth it. The property manager was fantastic.

Large apartment with great location

We had a great two night stay at this property. It was close to Central Park, Times Square, and many other attractions. The apartment is very large and included two air mattresses which was very helpful for our family. Any issues were addressed immediately by the property owner. Our only minor complaint is that the top floor is on street level which can be a bit noisy at night with traffic and pedestrians. Other than that, a perfect stay!

Excellent location

We stayed with our 2 adult children for a long birthday weekend. The host was responsive to all of our emails. The location was great to get on a subway (4 blocks), or to walk/run in Central park or go the other way to the river which has a nice pedestrian walkway. Also, close to 5th Aue, the Plaza Hotel, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and a lot of restaurants. Also, the little diner at the end of the block is great, as is the bagel shop around the corner for a quick bagel and coffee in the morning. The condo is comfortable with good space to sit after a day of walking. Very nice property.

Efficient space, conveniently located

This apt worked out well for us - a family of 6 adults. One couple slept in a pull out bed in the common space, sharing a bath with another couple on the main level. Some complaints about the constant traffic noises on 62nd just outside the windows. Apt is at sidewalk level. The lower level bedroom and bath were a lovely quiet sanctuary tucked just below street level. Great shower, updated bathrooms. Beware- a tricky spiral staircase for folks with mobility issues Check-in was GREAT and the management staff is VERY attentive. Great value. Great location - right between 1st and 2nd.

Great location, but very loud-

Location was great for getting around the city. I know it’s the city that never sleeps, but the rental is definitely not noise insulated and the windows are not dressed to keep out the lights of the many vehicles with sirens and flashing lights. Sleep was difficult. Plan to go shopping as paper products(TP) is minimal and you are only given one small cloth for the kitchen. It is difficult to keep things neat and tidy when you are not given the means to do so. Great restaurants and Central Park are very close which is nice.

Host was not attentive. Check in process was horrible. The previous tenant walked in on us after we had checked in. They lie about not having access to the apartment after 11 AM obviously. The previous tenant was allowed to stay past his time and they basically told us we would have to check in later. The host did not seem to care. Terrible service. The listing states that there is a sofa bed and a bed in one of the rooms. However, you have to look deeper into the listing and find out that the bed is an air mattress. I do not recommend this place.
