We had a lovely stay. There are definitely bears about; there was even one in a tree by the driveway when we pulled in one evening! Thank you for helping us experience the GSM.

We had a great stay! The cabin was clean and had everything needed and more. Beds were comfortable and we will stay again! One of our favorite cabins in the area.

Cabin was VERY CLEAN and well stocked with essentials. Master suite was amazing!! The bed was very comfy. The porch and balconies were very clean with nice woody views. We were hoping for Mountain View’s but this cabin didn’t have it. You could also hear road work around the area but that’s just a given sometimes. It was still peaceful. The road to the cabin wasn’t too bad at all. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It’s a lovely cabin. We went home relaxed!! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!!

Wonderfully located, beautiful cabin. Filled with thoughtfully detailed touches. We appreciated everything, from the basket of hot tub towels, multitude of games, super comfy beds, relaxing hit tub, and so very much more.

Highly recommend! Adorable mountain cabin near the Smoky Mtns. Secluded and up in the windy mountain roads. Away from the commercialization of Pigeon Forge but close enough to head there if you'd like. House was nicely decorated, freshly cleaned, perfectly stocked with needed amenities and appliances. Hot tub was warm and clean. Loved hanging out on all 5 decks!

Nice quiet weekend

Came in for our anniversary weekend. Cabin was nice and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and just relaxing. Would certainly stay here again.

Great experience!!!!

This cabin was perfect for our family! Enough beds and space for our kids to have separate areas, as well as for my husband and I to unwind! We will definitely stay here again if in the area! Secluded, but easy to get navigate the roads.

Perfect Stay

It was a perfect vacation ,was centrally located to Downtown,to Pigeon Forge, to trails,Cades Cove. Home was beautiful. Nothing better then to get back from busy day and relax and in the hot tub.few nights came back and just sat out watched a couple lil Bears and played games.. it was perfect!! We will be back!!

Perfection

I wish we could have stayed longer. This house is immaculate! It has everything you need for short stays or long stays. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. I definitely would love to stay again.

Wonderful Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at Violet Sky. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Our children especially loved the loft with several games that entertained them hours. Having access to the pool just down the road was an added bonus. We saw a bear 2 nights in a row one time walking down our road right in front of the cabin and the next night on our neighbors front porch. I would recommend this cabin and we look forward to coming back!

Smoky mt. road trip

The Violet Sky cabin was wonderful!!! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was wonderful after hiking in the GSMNP (the 2 entrances are not far from the cabin). Jackie was very responsive from checking to see if we got in and letting us stay for a couple extra days. I would highly recommend staying at the violet sky!!! Keith + Kelly

Wonderful Family Vacation

We loved our stay in Tennessee at this adorable cabin nestled in the woods! It was a perfect peaceful getaway for our family of six. The cabin was clean and very well stocked with all the essentials we needed for our stay. The host was great about checking in with us and was quick to respond to any questions we had. There is a nice size pool just 2 miles down the road that had amazing views while you swam and a little concession stand with all kinds of food and snacks. We enjoyed our time relaxing on the decks the most…there are 5!! The decks had a hot tub, table:chairs, rocking chairs, and a porch swing. The kids were excited to have a few bear sightings from the decks in the early morning.

Violet Sky was Wonderfully secluded and quiet yet close to the GSM NP. Check-in and communication was a breeze. Mike and Jackie have streamlined the process including the option to dl an app that outlines everything you need to know but if you have questions they are very responsive. Stayed with me, my wife, and 3 kids and loved all the sleeping options and the many porches to choose from. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked! Especially surprised by the Ninja Foodi that was available if needed. The porch view to the valley was blocked by foliage but I could see this opening up during fall and we didnt mind. I cant stress how quiet it was (when our kids were sleeping) and the fireflies were out when we stayed which made for a pleasant bonus. There was a RESIDENT BEAR in the area that def was used to finding scraps of food around so please male sure you lock up the trash! We saw it 4 separate times, 2 of which, it snuck up on me while I was outside near the front porch and I had to quickly go inside. 1 time it practically begged for food like a puppy. Hot tub was perfect after long days hiking and beds were extremely cozy. Only things I really noticed was a lack of counter space and living room seating but with the small space, there wasn't much you could do about that. The Master Suite on the bottom floor was amazing but it doesn't have a door. We didn't care that much but it might be a deal breaker if you wanted more privacy. Still HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The communication with the host was outstanding and they were very responsive. The directions to the cabin along with all the information and instructions were provided and very helpful throughout the stay. We remained in contact through our stay and each time they were quick to respond. The cabin was very clean and ready for us on our arrival. Not a single concern with cleanliness and we are very focused on that aspect. The property was far too big for just the two of us and we basically “lived” on one floor. Cell service was very limited and we had an occasional issue with WIFI access, however it was not a priority for us. The host did offer support and suggestions to ensure connectivity. Location was outstanding and a great “base” for us. We saw plenty of wildlife including a periodic visit from a mama bear and her two cubs. Would highly recommend this location and this host if you are seeking a quiet, clean and peaceful place to stay. This location has far more to offer than you can see online.

Very enjoyable stay! There were a couple of appliance/tech issues, but the hosts made everything right in a timely manner. We saw some bears at the end of the street.Pros: Lovely Master Suite in the lower level, abundant balconies with great sunrise views, relaxing hot tub, cozy gas fireplace, equipped with all the necessities, and the kids loved the Arcade games and board games.Cons: everything said/done in any part of the cabin can be heard in every other part, floors creak, stairs creak, loft beds creak. The shower head in the main floor bathroom only sprays directly in ones face and cannot be adjusted to spray the body. The start of the gravel road needs some attention as it was VERY difficult to not scrap the bottom of our van when getting on and off the paved road. One safety note: the railing in the loft is spaced so far apart that a toddler could fit through. I wouldn't recommend the loft for kids under 4 or 5 without constant, direct supervision.
