Wonderful place to stay with multi generations. My mother loved the patio and yard and my niece loved the beach was literally a 2 minute walk. And my sister and my son loved the kitchen to cook if we didn't feel like going out after a day on the beach. Short walk to local store if you need anything and very short drive to town if you want to shop or dinner out. It was cozy and charming! Love Paia! Will stay here again!

The Condo was perfect for our stay! Two bedrooms and two bathrooms! Plenty of space and very clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The location was located in a great area. Our host was wonderful with tips and recommendations! We would definitely stay here again!

Came for a quick one night stay before going to Hana. The location to the beach was great. We had a group of 6 adults. The biggest complaint amongst our group was the lack of cleanliness like dusting and deep down dirty. The other negative thing that stood out was the wear and tear and deferred maintenance in multiple places throughout the condo. There was an issue with the toilet but the host sent someone that night to fix it and with 6 adults we needed the two bathrooms. I thought entry directions were easy and we had what we needed. Keep in mind there is no coffee or normal amenities, but it does have a coffee maker. I thought the master bed was comfortable but can’t speak for the others. We paid over 800 for one night and it was kind of run down and we didn’t feel it was worth it. Not sure that we would stay here again.

We had a great time. Made room for 8 of us. Could use a little maintenance on a couple things to make them easier to use. We would definitely book there again

Immaculate inside and comfy! The sliding glass door didn’t work but you could walk around to sit and enjoy the weather and the sound of the water. Short distance to the ocean. I highly recommend!

Basic

The building's exterior is reminiscent of a motel. Inside, while clean and accurately represented in the photos, the accommodations are quite basic. This suited our needs for a short overnight stay before heading to the airport. However, its location requires a car to reach town, unless you've secured a reservation at Mama's.

Happy Our photos represented what we said we offer and it was clean. Yeah outside is an older building but inside is nice and updated just as you said. Hopefully you enjoyed the ocean and did not spend too much time staring at the building.

Overall it was a poorly maintained property. Many things did not work properly; Sliding door latch is defective. Had to go around the complex to go in the front door at least once. I had to put the screen door onto its track. 4 burner Stove had only two working burners. Had to hold the toilet lever for a complete flush. No cable TV and no instructions how to use the TV (until got a text telling us only the smart TV streaming channels, e.g., Netflix, worked). No trash cans in the bedrooms, only in bathrooms and kitchen. Couch and chair cushions were dirty and stained. One bar chair was missing its cushion. There were no chairs for the dining table. The listing photos seem to be out of date, showing several things that are no longer in the property. The foldout bed in the master bedroom was so uncomfortable our 3-year old grandson couldn't sleep on it. Only six clothes hangers per bedroom! We bought more and left them for future guests. Ceiling fan in den only ran at slow speed. No Kleenex in any rooms.We didn't get codes to enter the property until we got VRBO support involved to pester the owner. To get to the beach, "only a stones throw away" requires going through the Momma's Fish House, a 5 to 10 minute walk.

Outdated Hidden Gem

This is an assuming three story condo complex off the road to Hāna. This unit is on the 1st floor with parking directly outside. Location is great right at the back door of mama’s Fishhouse and a small beautiful beach to watch the amazing waves.The unit itself feels a little like an upgraded college dorm, in a good way. The guest room is right by the entrance and does not have AC but has a fan. There is AC in the living room and in the primary room. Plenty of bath and beach towels. Kitchen was well stocked and living room was comfortable. The sliding patio door was almost unusable as other reviewers had remarked. We had to go out the front door and walk around the building.The units next to us were quite loud, but not something that the owner can control.My main issue was the owner was completely unresponsive. I had to chase her down multiple times just to get check in information including contacting VRBO help get a response. I also had to chase down check out information which I received hours after we had left. When I finally got check in info the day of I asked for an early check-in and she told me she would let me know once the cleaner was done. Before check-in, we waited in front of the unit since we had groceries and didn’t see the cleaner go in/out before 4 PM. Nothing from the owner. I don’t believe the owner would have been helpful if a problem did arise during our stay.

Sorry you seem to have had trouble getting a hold of me. I dont recall you reaching out and not receiving a respone. Perhaps you are confusing me with somome else. We also have AC in both bedrooms so this seems extra weird. Regardless my photos show its clearly not a college dorm. Aloha
