We really enjoyed our stay. The home was just as described, very accommodating, and has a beautiful view of the Bogue Sound. Marty was a great host, easy check-in, and exceptional communication! We highly recommend!

Beautiful property and view. Perfect location for the event I was attending. Disappointed in the cleanliness. Opened, used food in the refrigerator. The floors and furniture were VERY sandy and had lots of pet fur. The toilets were stained. Very dusty. The second bedroom is misleading -as it is not private. You have to walk through the bedroom to get to the main bedroom. Although there was a half partition there, it did not afford privacy needed for adults.

Perfectly Sound!

We've been to Emerald isle numerous times but have never stayed on the sound side of the island. Now that we have, I'm not sure we'll ever go back to the ocean side! This property was such a delight from the incredible all around deck with a amazing views of sunrises and sunsets over the sound, to the proximity of restaurants and a nearly endless supply of ice (I had no idea what a luxury that was until I had it!) My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed floating in the sound, not having to worry about crashing waves and sand everywhere! Marty was an excellent, responsive host who was very easy to work with. I will always be thankful that we had the opportunity to experience and enjoy his "Treehouse" on the sound.
