We appreciate you bringing the tap water to our team's attention. Our home runs on pure, mineral-rich Rocky Mountain well water. Because it is completely natural and unfiltered by city chemicals, harmless dissolved oxygen can sometimes create a cloudy appearance in the lines, though we apologize that this was unappealing during your stay. The mineral rich water can also affect the flavor for a person not used to water from the Mountains. We wish we had known about the hot water during your visit, as our team would have gladly come out immediately to check the system and adjust the settings for your family. Thank you also for your notes regarding the carpet and the sofas. We take guest comfort seriously and are already looking into refreshing these interior items. We hope to welcome you back for an improved experience in the future!

Unfortunately, the listing did not get updated and did not reflect the fact that the fireplace is temporarily not usable, that has now been done. I offered you a full refund if you wanted to find a different home as there are plenty this time of year however, you decided to stay. SkyRun Rocky Mountain does not have a call center, we have a small team of local people who live here in Estes Park, care for these homes and the guests who stay with us. Guests can see in the About Host section, before clicking on the book now button, that we are a property management company. We work hard everyday to provide a clean comfortable place to stay while exploring the rocky mountains. Guests can also see the total cost of their stay before booking, there are no additional fees. Knowing the total of the reservation before completing the booking process gives the guest control over whether they want to pay for this property or choose another. This home is one of my favorite homes, tucked in the hillside with an amazing view and easy access to downtown and RMNP. This is a great place for a family to spend time together and make lasting memories.
