Cabin NIWOT 56 -being IN the park was amazing. It had everything anyone would need. The host was easy to contact when needed and it made for a fabulous vacation. Wildlife walking past and the view of Moraine Park at your doorstep is hard to beat. Rangers acknowledge your reservation paperwork as entry without delay. Ps…the humming birds were also entertaining!!

We had a great stay! The space is on the smaller side but very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. No WiFi or AC, but both are clearly disclosed ahead of time, so there were no surprises.We could watch the hummingbirds for hours, and we even saw some wildlife along Bear Lake Road at dusk on the way back to the cabin.The best part is the location - being right by Rocky Mountain NP made exploring incredibly convenient and we loved being able to access Bear Lake without needing timed entry. Overall, a great home base for enjoying the area!

We had a great stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed for a smooth stay. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, and basic supplies. We appreciated the available coffee! The temperature was comfortable, and the cabin was cozy. Loved looking out the big picture window to see the elk and deer in the valley.

Relaxing and Beautiful!

The view couldn’t be better! The cabin was cute and cozy. They did a great job updating but keeping the charm of the original cabin. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

The cabin was cute with modern upgrades but kept the feel of a 70+ year old cabin. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. We can't wait to return!

Nothing short of amazing!! Had all the basic Amenities plus more. Super clean! The most superb location imaginable. There is nothing like listening to elk bugle day and night right outside the window and the view just can’t be beat.

Great location with great view inside the national park.

Stayed two nights at the Niwot cabin. The cabin’s location at the base of Bear lake road and just south of Moraine park was ideal. Cabin was clean, quiet and was a pleasant stay. Fully stocked kitchen with comfortable living area. Location was equidistant from the parks premier hiking trails (bear lake area) and downtown Estes park

RMNP SkyRun is the only place that has a Cabin Rocky Mountain National Park where people can come and stay enjoy the peacefulness of the Park - Niwot Cabin is one of my favorite Cabins! We are so happy you enjoyed this unique experience.

Awesome Property!

Located In RMNP past both National Park check points. It is situated right on the edge of Beaver Meadows with great views. The unit has been newly updated, has new furniture, and very clean. We stayed for two nights, but wished we had booked for longer. Would definitely stay here again.

Moraine Immersion

Stayed a week in this cabin with family of four. Easy access from the Park entrance and quick drive into Estes Park. Views of Moraine valley are awesome, right out the main cabin windows. Tons of wildlife all around, saw lots of elk and even a moose in the valley. Various hiking trails are accessible from the cabin, either by foot or short drive. Great family vacation!

Great place, great location

We loved the cabin. It had everything we needed to be able to visit the park and yet relax at the same time. The views are great. The hummingbirds are super friendly. They came right up to the feeder as I was holding it and ate out of it. Being inside the park is great as you do not have to wait to get into the park. It is also nice to be on Bear Lake Rd. We did go to recreation.gov to get our passes for Bear Lake road. Overall just a wonderful stay.

Niwot is so unique SkyRun is the only property management company that has a property in the National Park. Summers are great but during the Fall Rut would be spectacular as well.

Amazing Experience

Great family vacation at Niwot Cabin. The views are amazing and this is the most relaxing cabin we have ever stayed in. The area is surrounded by some great wildlife. Several trials for hiking or mountain biking. Everyone we met told us how lucky we were to stay inside Estes Park and at this wonderful cabin. Our only regret was that we stayed only two days due to other travel plans. If we would have known how great this place was we would have made initial plans to stay more days. We are now making plans to get back as soon as possible. We highly recommend a stay in the Niwot Cabin in Estes Park.

Fabulous Family Getaway

Our family of four had an incredible experience at Niwot Cabin. First of all, the cabin is situated inside the park! The location makes it a rare gem since only a handful of cabins are allowed within the park. That means you can skip long lines to enter the Bear Lake Coordidor each day. Once you are in your cabin, there are endless opportunities to explore around the location. My husband and I spent hours exploring the property and came across one of our favorite spots in the park right up from the cabin. You can easily see wildlife from the front porch, and the rocks behind the cabin make for wonderful climbing for children and adults. They even bring horseback tours right in front of the cabin daily. The cabin accommodates a family of four nicely. It's updated and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is stocked well for cooking, and there are eating areas inside and outside the cabin. The cabin is also very close to a giant park and ride that will take you straight to the different trailheads in The Bear Lake Corridor. Be sure to check out Bear Lake and the nearby falls. They are gorgeous! Overall, our family rates our stay at the cabin as one of our most memorable family vacations. We are already talking about returning. Trust me; you will not be disappointed! The view from the living room window will take your breath away!

Incredible Experience

We stayed at the Niwot Cabin last week and it was such an incredible experience for my family and me. We felt like we were living in a Thomas Kinkade painting with the lush mountainous surroundings, and the wildlife all around us in Moraine Park. We saw more wildlife at the cabin than we did anywhere else in the National Park. There is a beautiful stream with a waterfall nearby that we were able to see a Moose standing in, and there are hiking trails just a few steps from the door. We also enjoyed the horseback riding tour through the mountains in the park. The cabin itself was just perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, we had plenty of room for all four of us (two adults and two children), and we made some amazing memories there. All of the local people we talked to inside of the park and outside knew which cabin we were staying in when we described it and every one of them said they wished they had been able to stay there themselves and had always wondered who owned it because the location is so perfect. I highly recommend a stay in the Niwot Cabin and hope we will be able to stay there again too!
