We had a great stay with 4 adults, 1 baby, and 3 dogs. The space is exactly as described. We lost service on the way in so I’d advise future guests to take a screen shot of the access code so you don’t have to drive back out to get service. We would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay! Secluded cabin and a large property just the right size for a weekend away and within 20-30 minute driving distance of beautiful hiking trails/unique and delicious local restaurants! Would stay again.

Very clean and absolutely beautiful property. We came for 3 nights for my birthday and it was an absolutely stunning property. The home was very comfortable and stocked with what we needed, our fur baby loved the large open space and privacy to run around in. The Pomona Natural bridge is super close and beautiful, as well as the cross of peace which is absolutely amazing views. We will definitely be coming back.

The lodge was just as described, and more. It was clean and attention was paid to details. Before we arrived, our host recommended places to see and a restaurant called Mase's Place, that didn't disappoint. Unfortunately, it rained the day we arrived and all the next day so we didn't explore the property like we had hoped to, but we, along with our 2 furbabies, very much enjoyed sitting on the back porch listening to the rain hit the leaves. We are very much looking forward to staying there again.

Everything was very nice. A little tricky pulling in you have to watch for the yellow posts to turn right before the next driveway and it says no trespassing on private property. Ignore that and go ahead and trespass. It’s really very nice the house and the backyard were stunning, and I would definitely stay there again.

Great family retreat

Our trip was to attend my son's graduation from SIU. The cabin was in an accessible spot to Carbondale and was great for the 5 of us. We enjoyed our stay!
