Quaint studio on a beautiful property. We enjoyed wine at night and coffee in the morning on the patio enjoying the beautiful view. Bed was very comfortable and appreciated all the special details and amenities of this property which made our stay so comfortable. Hope to stay again!

Rene’s little cabin in the rural part of Spokane is a little slice of paradise! The space was perfect for 2 adults, and we appreciated all the amenities and nice touches that our host put in place - washer/dryer, full kitchen, super comfy bed, a/c unit (for the hotter days), outdoor seating for enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine on the patio. It was a good location for getting know the greater Spokane area and quiet enough to catch up on our sleep. Would highly recommend for couples, especially those who like wine (there is a nice winery literally across the street). We would happily stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Hidden Gem on South Hill

The property is a quiet little oasis with a winery across the street and beautiful property grounds in every direction. Rene has done such a wonderful job creating spaces to relax all along the grounds. The casita was perfectly cozy with everything we needed. We loved our stay and hope to return again soon.

Excellent Place outside of town

Great place with a great view. Clean and quiet. Check in/out and communication with the owner was great. Fantastic outdoor spaces to relax and having a winery across the road certainly didn't hurt.

Sunset View Every Night!

There's so much to say about our sweet getaway at Rene's Cabina. It's clean, bright, well-maintained, beautifully decorated, cozy and hospitable, an amazing bed, all the necessities are here, plus there's a beautiful sunset view from the patio seating area. This we enjoyed, three of our four-nights' stay. We missed one sunset for the wedding we attended -- which was the reason for this escape. The scenic drive a few minutes from town, pastoral setting, and winery across the street, add to its appeal. Rene is a conscientious host with excellent taste, and cares that her guests enjoy their stay. I would not have changed a thing.

Grounds seemed lovely!

The grounds looked beautiful!! We are STR owners and have a design build experiential hospitality company as well, so love a beautiful stay with upscale furnishings. The listing really stood out in the area. And while we wished we could have stayed here, we unfortunately needed to stay at a different property that was more suitable for our size of family after discussing options with the host. Our family is into tiny living and special space. Rene was responsive as this was last-minute booking as we were traveling into town for an event, and I could tell she really cared about her venue. Host cancelled the stay for us, which was great. We would love to stay here as a couple with just my husband and I and perhaps no pets to avoid the 200 pet fee, although there does appear to be a thoughtful dog run area on the grounds, which seems lovely and a special touch for a pet visiting! The other reviews make it seem like a wonderful stay and we wish Rene the very best.

Beautiful stay

I had an amazing time at this cabina! The views were so beautiful and the property is large- great for enjoying outdoor time with your loved ones, or a private get away in a gorgeous modern home. Rene was a very considerate and kind host. She made the experience very pleasant and was always on stand by if I needed help with anything! It’s in a very safe neighborhood, in my opinion you’re guaranteed to enjoy your time at this place! Highly recommend :)

We love staying at this property!

This is our fourth year staying at Rene's over Christmas, and it is always such a wonderful experience! We usually host a family Christmas Eve Smorgasbord at the beautiful big farm table. The location is also very convenient for shopping, and close to our family, and yet it has a feeling of being out in the country. Highly recommended!

A bit of Tuscany minutes from the South Hill

We truly enjoyed out stay at La Cabina. The Dining/Kitchen area, with French Doors opening to a large patio, was perfect for us to host a small Reunion Dinner for 6 with old college friends. And relaxing with wine and canapés on the terrace overlooking grass fields and farmland following to the mountains was wonderful! Such an unexpected treasure so close to the South Hill…and only 10 mins from Trader Joe’s, if you need supplies. We’ve slept in many 4 star hotels over the years, but the bed at La Cabina was one of the best! Booking and check in very easy. We highly recommend this place.

Lovely Place

My husband and I came in town with our dog for work and family appreciated staying close by and in such on such a magical property. The grounds are beautifully cared for and the cabina is beautifully decorated. My only suggestion is an ottoman for the coach to more comfortably watch tv on have one in the bedroom. Other than that I will likely rebook on our next visit. 😊

South Hill Stay

La Cabina was a great property for our Spokane Visit. While on the same property as the Owner's Home La Cabina has beautiful views, lots of outside spaces and plenty of parking. Really enjoyed the privacy the space offered and loved the deer that visited regularly. We will definitely be back.

A peaceful cozy stay!

We fell in love with this property while initially searching for rentals—and it certainly did not disappoint! This was a unique gem and was such a lovely place to temporarily call home for the weekend. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and everything went smoothly. Loved it! Wonderful cottage with lots of appreciated decorative and useful details. Beautiful outdoor spaces for good weather relaxing and enjoying the views. Owner is very friendly and communicative. Be aware there is a pet fee that is not indicated on the website.
