The Lilac House did not disappoint. The house was beautiful and well-furnished. We had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation with my parents. This is the place to stay if you want to have a quiet place to end your day after exploring Yosemite National Park.

The property is comfortable and very clean, and the sunset views are beautiful. It was nice to come back to the house and relax after a full day of touring. Charles provided important information about Yosemite and Mariposo. He’s an excellent host! Restaurants, gas, groceries, and shopping are nearby and the town of Mariposo is charming and fun. We hope to visit again one day!

The property is located on the side of a mountain (not too high) and it leaves the most beautiful view for sunset. This was the perfect stay for my small group of 4! We had everything we needed in the house. The host is very friendly and communicative on directions and other activities to check out in the area, so if you’re confused on where to go and what to do, he will definitely help you!

The serenity, cleanliness, and beauty of the Lilac House stood out to us. The home owner Charles’ hospitality, open line of communication, and knowledge of the area were exceptional. The home is stocked with all the amenities and made the stay so comfortable. Everything is organized and labeled throughout the house. I truly recommend this gem and can’t wait to stay here again!

It's an absolute gem! What a perfect house in the wilderness to come back to. Even better is the host (charles) what a guy, he knows yosemite in & out. Great proactive communication, suggestions, warnings you name it. He is an absolute gem of a person too. I would always book this house for every time i visit yosemite no questions asked.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The entire house was spotlessly clean, and every appliance and facility was modern and well maintained. As someone who loves cooking, I especially enjoyed the kitchen. It was incredibly well equipped, easy to use, and made preparing meals a real pleasure. Every evening we were treated to beautiful sunsets from the house, and at night we enjoyed an amazing sky full of stars. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Yosemite National Park was only about a 50-minute drive away, and the scenic, traffic-free route made the journey enjoyable and stress-free. The host was exceptionally kind, thoughtful, and always attentive to every detail. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Yosemite. It was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, and we would happily come back again.

Staying at the Lilac was a dream. Not only was it clean, it was immaculate! We were two couples visiting Yosemite and it was perfect for our needs after long days at the park. The great room had comfortable furniture perfect for lounging. The kitchen was well equipped. Communication was meticulous, with plenty of information on “how to.” As social shout out goes to the June Bug Cafe, great food close by. Thank you Charles for an amazing stay!
