This was the perfect spot for us as we were in town to celebrate a family wedding. Easy access to all the fun that Arnolds Park and Okoboji have to offer!

Enjoyed our stay

Very cute house and in the perfect location for everything going on in Okoboji and Arnold’s Park. The hosts made it so easy to check in and answered any questions we had prior to our stay.

Amazing location!

Great place to enjoy Arnolds Park and the surrounding area. Mini Nashville is easily walkable to bars restaurants and all the fun of Arnolds Park.

Other family members were staying at Fillenwarth so this was in close proximity to them. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at this place. It was in a great location, just a bit noisy from the highway. We enjoyed the outside patio area. Some of the light switches were hard to find but we enjoyed the charm and proximity to the park!

annual kids and grandkids trip

we reserved this for our photographer from mpls and her family. the children didn't want to stay in the basement bedroom due to the conditions. they did say it's a clean cute little house. the host was quick to respond about checking out rules.

Charming house near Arnold’s Park

The house was very well stocked with all the essentials and some extra touches like a snack basket. It was clean and nicely decorated. A small property but the owner has made the most of the space. It is a great location walking distance to plenty of restaurants and the Arnold Park amusement area. Our only issue is with listing it as a three bedroom. The third bedroom and half bath are in the basement. Two dehumidifier’s going, but still musty. And the fact that it was not a legal bedroom (no egress window) and the door to the half bath was just a curtain. At the very least this should be disclosed in the listing.

Thank you for your review. I checked my listing details and it does state that the 3rd bedroom is non-conforming, which means no egreess. I will add the info on the curtain entry to the bathroom. Arnold was built in 1940 and with the rain and flooding event recently, the basement needs the dehumidifiers running. I hope you find a more modern accommodation for your next trip.

Arnold was a great cottage for our short stay in Okoboji. Sandra the host was easy to work with and responsive. We liked the cottage vibe and convenient location. Already plotting our next stay.

The Arnold was a darling little house to stay at. Everything was clean and as advertised. The basement bathroom is a full bath not a half which was helpful. There is quite a bit of road noise but it wasn’t too bothersome.

Hi, thanks for the review and I'll make sure to update that the basement bathroom is now finished. I believe the listing states that the convenient location means traffic, but will add those pieces, too. There were clothes, toothbrush and toothpaste left in the basement bathroom.
