Great location and well equipped for a short getaway. We travelled with 4 adults and 2 young children. This space was perfectly sized. I would highly recommend this property.

The house was perfect for our girls trip to Historic St. Charles. The location was steps away from Main Street which made it so easy for us to get to local restaurants and shops. There was plenty of parking and the host communicated very well. The host checked in to make sure we had all we needed. I will definitely visit this property again. I highly recommend it.

So cute! Our entire family enjoyed staying there. It was so welcoming and inviting. We loved how close it was to Main Street in Saint Charles basically one block away. I would definitely stay there again! I packed shower gel, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, etc. but it is so nice that they provided all of that. We have stayed in enough places like this where son don’t provide some of those basic things and when you’re traveling, you’re already packing so many things so it’s just nice knowing for this one you don’t need to bring all of those things.

Location was great! So close to St Charles historic district that we could easily walk, but a block off the street so we didn’t deal with crowds. Spacious home & the garage was handy since it was rainy when we stayed. Listing was spot on & so clean. It’ll be our go to whenever we go to St Louis area.

Four long-time female friends stayed three nights in St. Charles. This location was convenient, and the home was spacious, comfortable, and welcoming. We appreciated the back driveway entrance for parking and easy access. Communication with the host was responsive and helpful. Definitely would recommend this VRBO for visitors.

It was perfect, quaint, & cozy. A perfectly quiet little neighborhood with cute local shops just a couple blocks away. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils needed for cooking which is something we do a lot of when we vacation with our family.

This was a charming historic house! We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was in great condition and the beautifully updated kitchen was a highlight. We enjoyed many of the local restaurants (and loved the map of all the locally owned coffee houses within a few miles of the house. We tried many of them!) The rooms were spacious and everything was very neat and tidy.The only downside was some street construction in front of the house, but we were able to park and use the back alley and garage for easy access in and out of the house. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house itself was fantastic and looked exactly like it did in the pictures. The location was fabulous—just one block from downtown, which was also wonderful. It’s an amazing little town with so much charm.We especially loved having a garage, which was a huge plus. The interior of the house was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The front porch was one of our favorite spots. I loved sitting out there in the morning with my coffee—it was such a relaxing way to start the day.Another added bonus was the great communication with the management team. They were wonderful to work with and very responsive. We also really appreciated that the house was stocked with things to help us get through those first few days. There were plenty of paper towels and toilet paper, the kitchen was fully stocked, and there were even coffee and creamer items available. It was such a thoughtful touch, especially before we had the opportunity to go shopping.There were just a couple of small things that could use some attention. The exterior of the house and the two outdoor seating areas were quite dirty and had a lot of thick spider webs, so we didn’t end up using those spaces. Inside, the upstairs bathroom is shared by two bedrooms, and whenever the shower was turned on, the water heater would start rumbling and shaking the house. It was a little unsettling. Also, the downstairs shower drained very slowly and would fill up with water while showering.Overall,

Excellent home, lots of room for a big family gathering. One block From Main Street. Parking in alley and garage makes easy access. Would stay here again.

Quick getaway trip

This home was perfectly located - we parked and didn’t get in the car again until we left. The place was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Short drive to the airport too. Walked one short block to Salt & Smoke and The Main House for great dinners and enjoyed the charming town.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay. My father was in the hospital and coming home every day to this sanctuary was such a relief. Great communication - we extended our stay and had left items mailed to us and it was all handled very professionally. The porches were great. The solo stove and courtyard area was peaceful.

It was a perfect place for us! So close to the stores and restaurants. The rooms were all large and very well designed. Bathrooms were very nice. Great history in the house. Beds were comfortable too.

We had a great time! Home was close to downtown area!

We loved the house! It was roomy with a nice layout! We would suggest more hand towels and couple extra sets of towels! The outside area needed to be cleaned up!

Girlfriend reunion

We are 5 women in our 70's and we've known each other for 60 years. We live in different states and like to get together at least every year. This was quite a charming place for us to meet up. Everything was wonderful!

Garrett (Host) was great. Immediate responses to questions.The property was nice. It could use a little TLC in some areas but overall an 8 out of 10. Great location... one minute walk to Main Street.
