What a lovely condo and beautiful ocean front! They thought of everything and the host was very responsive. We lived the close proximity to downtown shops and restaurants and will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time here. The host was very communicative and friendly. The beach view was spectacular. We had our breakfast each morning with a gorgeous sunrise.

The condo was clean and homey. It has great views right on the beach. The kitchen had anything you could need to make a meal.check in was easy. We would definitely stay here again.

We can't recommend this beachfront condo highly enough. The two-bedroom, two-bath penthouse was beautifully appointed and sits in a small, three-story building that felt wonderfully private and quiet, and the beach itself was every bit as secluded! The hosts were extremely responsive and access was very easy. Extremely clean and well cared for- this is clearly someone's home that they take great care of. The beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable, and there was plenty of parking, which is always a welcome bonus. The penthouse views of the beach were absolutely gorgeous, and we had front-row seats for the July 4th fireworks, an unforgettable treat. The location couldn't be better, with easy access to the Sandbar and Salt Life restaurants, walkable to Driftwood Surf Shop and just a quick drive into downtown Amelia Island. If you're looking for a peaceful, well-appointed getaway right on the water, this is the place. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Delightful stay at Fernandina Beach

This was a dream beachfront location with easy beach access and yet also close to the lovely downtown. The condo was terrific! Clearly the host had tried to provide everything you could possibly need (both inside and for the beach) with many thoughtful touches. The management team was great and the check-in/check-out process was easy. Highly recommend!

This condo has a beautiful view and had all equipment that we needed for our trip. Condo was very clean and cozy. It was great being on the top floor so we did not hear any kids playing, running, etc..

House was clean and smelled clean upon arrival unlike other beach homes we have stayed at that had a musty smell. Great view and home was nicely decorated with many kitchen accessories so there was no need to bring any utensils or pans for cooking unlike other homes which had the bare minimum. There was high tide and rip currents during half of our stay due to Imelda but we made the best of the nice days we had.

A Little Slice of Heaven

To be able to start your morning off with a cup of coffee and that view is priceless. I would highly recommend this condo to everyone. First time on Amelia Island. Such a great area and all the mom and pop shops are fantastic.

Amazing place

This was one of the best VRBOs I have visited. Fantastic and exactly as photographed and described. Everyting was labeled, including light swithces, which I greatly appreciated. Highly recommend unless it is a weekend we want to be there. We will be back!

Great Mini Vacation!

Nice, older, 3rd floor, beach front condo unit. Condo is in great condition. Beautiful view of beach and ocean. 3rd floor walk up could be an issue for some folks. This is our second time at this unit and we would definitely come back again.

Older 3rd (top) floor condo. Very clean, beachfront. A little dated and with no elevator the 32 steps to 3rd floor might be a problem for some. This is out 3rd time staying in this unit, so obviously we are happy with it.

Great stay

It was a great stay. We normally stay in A3 but it was not available. C3 was great. It was very clean, which is a big factor for us. Easy code to gain access. Easy access to beach, even with current beach project going on. If I could give one piece of advice to owners, it would be to remove some of the clutter. Too much furniture in master limiting space for our things. But enjoyed all the seating in the living room. Would stay here again.

The View!

This condo was everything as promised. The pictures and description are 100% accurate. Everything except your food is in this unit. It was very clean and decorated nicely. But come on, THE VIEW!!! Just beautiful. I would think 4 adults would be my max as the living area is small, but mostly we were either on the beach or out and about. The location was easy to get anywhere as the island is not that big. You wont be disappointed renting this unit. Rent directly thru Amelia Island Getaways.

Captain's House - Perfect location & view!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Captain's House - it was in a great location (easy to access, well-maintained beachfront neighborhood) and it had the perfect view. Rain or shine, you could sit in the living room by the sliding glass door, sit on the deck or walk a few steps to the beach - hearing and seeing the waves was right there, just what we were looking for! This house is divided up into a 6-Plex or 6 condo unit type set up. This unit is on the 3rd floor on the end and there is no elevator; however the stairs are laid out nicely and easy to maneuver (my friend is in her 70s and she did fine; good hand rails). The unit has a well-supplied in all areas as the owners used to live there full-time I think (great artwork on the walls throughout). Beach chairs were supplied (in the guest bedroom closet) which was so nice to have available. I would book this place again without hesitation!
