Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed staying in this condo. The pool was great for our kids, and it was really easy (and safe) to get to the beautiful beach. The condo was stocked with everything we needed, and the instructions were clear. We highly recommend this place!

Great Place! Would stay again!

The place was very nice and spacious. Loved being on the beach and the pool area. The condo had several amenities. It was a great place for our family vacation!

Loved this location and the area! Beach access was easy and beach had white sand with shells for the kids. We had two cars and parking was a little tricky but management worked with us to find a space. The condo was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Our family really enjoyed our laid back beach vacation here!

Great Beach Stay

This is an ideal location- condo was setup perfect for a family to stay comfortably. Pool, beach, and biking were our agendas! Definitely coming back to the Pelican!!

Enjoyable

We enjoyed this condo. It was spacious and clean. Having the extra chairs and beach towels was nice. The view from the room is lacking but I like that it's on level with the beach.

We loved our vacation at the Pelicans. Our condo was perfect for our family. It was very clean and everything worked as expected. We had 6 in our party and the condo was a perfect fit. The grounds and pool area was very well groomed and maintained. We would vacation here again.

Great place to stay!

The condo was perfect and included everything we needed for the week. The only drawback is that while it is on the beach the balcony area does not have an ocean view and has a lot of noise due to traffic. This did not really bother us as we were a very short walk to the beach and pool. It was great! Highly recommend.

Thank you for the review Beth. We are glad you enjoyed the condo. We do make sure that the photos in our listing show the view from the balcony as well as the size and shape of the pool. We try hard to have photos that are an accurate representation of our properties. We realize the parking situation isn't ideal, but the listing clearly says there is only one assigned parking spot in addition to one visitor spot. We also communicate after each booking is made to ensure that this is understood and to also let guests know that there is no paid public parking. It is truly unfortunate that our efforts to be upfront and clear about these items are sometimes overlooked by guests. Stacie-Stay Better Vacations

Amelia Island

Condo was nice, offered towels etc. Had everything we needed. We had asked if we could possibly get in as soon as ready. We were traveling with a 6 month old. We didnt get our code until 4 maybe a little after. Also, they were doing construction on a home right next to us. They started working everyday right after 7:00 am. No sleeping in 😞

As we communicated to you several times, we could only send the door code early if the condo was ready early. Unfortunately, due to it being our busy season, with many check-in's it was not available ahead of schedule. However, our system automatically sends all codes at 4pm if they haven't already been sent. We also regret the disturbance caused by the nearby work. The location is everything, and the beach was absolutely fabulous! It was never crowded and was perfect for long walks. The walk to the beach was short and easy, even with two toddlers. We also appreciated the plenty of towels, excellent laundry room, and well-equipped kitchen.That said, the apartment could definitely use some updates. One guest bedroom has no curtains, and a bright lamp post outside shines into the room all night. The dining chairs were loose and felt unstable. The patio furniture was deteriorating, with pieces of plastic breaking off onto the floor, which was concerning with a toddler. The living room rug would slide across the tile floor, creating a slipping hazard. The living room TV was also extremely laggy and frequently froze when using streaming apps.Things to know before booking: The thermostat is restricted and cannot be set below 70F. The thermostat would show 70F and the AC would shut off, but our baby monitors in the guest bedrooms consistently showed temperatures around 73F—about the same as the outdoor temperature during our stay. As a result, the bedrooms felt warmer than expected, especially at night. We feel the stay would have been significantly more comfortable if guests were allowed to adjust the thermostat a few degrees lower. Parking is limited to two spaces, and vehicles with roof racks or rooftop cargo carriers are not permitted.Despite the issues, I would stay here again because the location and beach access were that good.

It's was ok. The cost versus the condo plus with all of VRBO's outrageous fees, was not really worth it. And I know you don't care anything about what I have to say nor are you going to change your fees due to my opinion. But I thought if you wanted the truth there it is. I know you're in business to make money. I completely understand that. There's a fine line between making money and price gouging. The additional fees that VRBO charges makes it hard for a middle class family to justify the cost versus the vacation. You know the lower class can't afford it, and upper class don't care the cost. The balcony area wasn't what it seemed in the pictures. I fixed the ceiling fan and the light fixtures on the ceiling fan. The Master bed needs to be updated. The condo overall was fine but would not stay again. You wanted my opinion so you got it. For a premium price you should get a premium product. It's just that simple.

A Great Stay for the Amelia Island Concours!

My friends and I stayed here for Amelia Island, and it was fantastic! The place was very clean, and the location was stellar. The host was also fantastic, and we'd definitely stay here again!
