We were entirely at peace during our stay. View from hot tub was awesome and we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset each evening there. It was the perfect getaway and the best part of our time away.

The house was very clean with a lot of extras. We enjoyed the location in proximity to The Ark Encounter & Creation Museum. The hot tub was very nice as was the coffee bar. The beds were comfortable and the view over the lake was beautiful. The living room sofa was not comfortable for lounging. We are in our upper 60’s and it was low and very uncomfortable. The was another sofa in an adjacent room that was fine though. We had a visit from the neighborhood cat at the fire pit and also some ducks, turkey and deer out the window above the coffee bar. Overall it was a great place to stay!

Nice place to visit with Family

Very quiet and restful. Enjoyed the view of the lake. Great place to stay for visiting the Ark Encounter and the Creation Musuem.

Great rental!

We truly enjoyed this home! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was provided to make our stay pleasant! Very convenient location if you are going to the Creation Museum or the Ark.

The cabin was all we hoped for!! Clean, cozy and comfortable. Peaceful surroundings and lovely views. Host is very thoughtful and appreciated all the communication prior, during and after our stay. Will definitely stay again if I make another trip to Kentucky.

This property is very picturesque. It is situated right on the lake. The outdoor areas are relaxing and enjoyable. The inside is clean, comfortable, and well decorated.

Getaway with friends

Beautiful, newly remodeled cabin with a great view of nature. Had everything we needed. Host was available and made sure things were to our liking. Short drive to attractions and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Family stay at the lake

We had a great stay, the house was so comfortable, accommodating, well appointed, great location, and clean. The games, puzzles, and kayaks were great family activities. Too hot for hot tub, but a nice extra. The place was so tastefully done. The host made sure we were comfortable and happy.

Exceptional!

This home is just as nice or better than the pictures. It's also well outfitted with everything needed in the kitchen, not to mention a welcoming fire pit with food and supplies to make s'mores. We would absolutely stay here again and the kind host is very much engaged in managing the property well.

A very sweet Serene Kentucky Lake Cabin

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The cabin is nicely arranged with very comfortable beds. Truly, we slept well all three nights. The owners were very good. Communications were exceptionally easy and ahead of any questions. Check in and check out were very simple. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

Beautiful House

Well equipped house with everything you could need including games (indoor and outdoor) and high quality cookware (love cast iron!). The host was quick to reply to any questions we had. Not a swimming lake but we enjoyed kayaking and fishing. Would return if visiting the area again!

There were so many thoughtful touches added. Very clean and comfortable! The host was very quick to respond. The only 4 star I gave on the listing was because the lake has “no swimming”. We didn’t realize that until we got there

Wonderful get away

We had 2 families (7 people) stay at the cabin it was terrific! The cabin was well stocked and clean! Check in was so easy! The hot tub was so relaxing, our group loved the coffee bar and used it A LOT! We had a beautiful day of snow, watching snow fall with the fireplace going and a cup a coffee was absolutely dreamy! Cannot wait to visit again in the summer and utilize the kayaks! We visited the ark and the commute was about 15 minutes one way and a very easy route! Thank you Julie for allowing us to use your beautiful property!
