The best part of this house is how accessible it is to Bar Harbor and Acadia! We loved being within such an easy walking distance to the village center…and it’s only a few minutes from the sandbar. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, everything we needed! We would definitely stay again.

This lively 4 Square house was the perfect gathering spot for our high school friend reunion (Class of 74) The house had everything we needed including a much covered parking spot. The house is spacious with plenty of room to gather and escape. It is very relaxing and cozy. Just perfect.Its location can’t be beat either. Close to dozens of restaurants and fun shops but still off the beaten path so it’s quiet.I would definitely rent this home for a Bar Harbor getaway again.

The house was extremely clean and very spacious. It was also charming with many beautiful details that were well maintained. The location was perfect- close to all of our destinations and very walkable, near downtown and the national park. We had a large group staying for a wedding. This meant that people could come and go easily. We saved so much money because we did not have to pay for parking downtown! There is an ample sized porch with a locked gate. The small back yard is fenced but no gate. One could easily install a baby gate to keep kids and pets contained. The kitchen is basic and well appointed. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

The house is within walking distance from town which is outstanding. This saved us from needing to find find and pay for parking. Our family loved the proximity to town. The house is cute with plenty of room for our family to spread out. The cleaning was lacking, there was a used bar of soap left inside the shower that was stuck to the shelf in the niche of the shower. It was obvious the shower wasn’t cleaned. Plus, the shower floor had a large plastic piece that was loose and peeling away from the shower floor. After we arrived and I notified the host about the shower issues, he shared that it also leaks into the kitchen. That was true, the shower leaks into the kitchen to where we needed to put a pot right in front of the stove.

An interesting review to say the least. One star? Surely you clicked the wrong button good sir. At first I wasn’t even sure if we should reply to this considering the absurdity that it even warrants a response. However, I would challenge any and all that read this to please read all of our other many, many 10 star reviews and as always…please consider the source.

Great house. Easy walk to everywhere. It is very bright early in the morning. We weren’t use to 4:30 am sunrise. However, host was great. Just the right amount of space.

Great location -- walkable to almost everything in and around BH, but on a quiet side street. Enjoyed the house both as a base for excursions and to just sit and lounge when our itinerary slowed. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was very clean. We check in on Thursday. Friday morning while cooking breakfast we noticed a small leak in the ceiling. I texted Steven and he was there with a plumber shortly after. We were down a shower for the weekend. He was very sorry for that happening, but it was beyond his control. And we made it work. We would definitely stay there again!!!

This house was so excellent. Great location in a beautiful town. Steps from anything we wanted to do. The house was immaculate. The very best most unique thing was that it was the best stocked house I’ve ever been in. Need salsa? Got it. Mosquito spray? There it is. Any dishes we needed were there. Toiletries, games, books. It was just fantastic. Highly highly recommend! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

Great spot!

Great location within walking distance of Bar Harbor restaurants and shops. Wonderful cottage with ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Owners provided all necessities as well as plenty of entertainment options for kids and adults in case of a rainy day. Would definitely stay again!
