Our 2nd stay, not our last!

The Kamaole Villa is incredible. This was our second stay. The proximity to the beach and the large pool / yard is all day fun. The house layout is a great set up as well. We will be back!

Not just a rental, a beautiful home

Wonderful vacation home with amazing pool, sunset views and steps to the beach. This property has everything you need for three generations of guests. Stacy was a pleasure to work with!

Perfect Vacation House for a family

The house is lovely and the pools are perfect for adults who want to lap swim and for children who can wade in to the shallow pool. The proximity to the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful. The house is also ideal for anyone with mobility difficulties with a large walk in shower and everything on one level. We would come back here in a nanosecond.

Nirvana

We are repeat guests and will continue to return. Steps from beach and a few more to restaurants, groceries and shopping. The house has everything you need to relax, prepare meals, or entertain. If you have questions or are in need of anything, the managers are responsive and helpful. Bring your swim suit and flip flops!

We had a good time at this property but it wasn't quite as we expected. Highlights were beautiful ocean view, amazing lanai, pool and hot tub, walking distance to downtown kihei, air conditioning, and beach nearby for ocean swimming. Lowlights were numerous as well. Since the fence neighbors a park, there were 3 homeless people living on the other side of the fence smoking marijuana, cursing, talking loudly, and playing an ill-tuned guitar or blasting music. Also, there is a LOT of traffic noise from S. Kihei Rd 24/7, as the street borders the property and is right next to the kitchen and family room. You see the cars going by as well. You also hear this from the backyard. Also to note that the path to get to the beach is very steep. I incorrectly assumed it was a regular path, but there is a 6 foot sandy drop at the end that can be challenging. Minor issues with the property include unable to open master bedroom sliding glass door without considerable force, pocket doors that are stuck, garbage bin in kitchen won't stay closed, ripped dining room chair and lounge outside, flooring discoloration ( sun-bleached and rugs now removed). Also, the neighbor's house was undergoing construction for 3 days of our trip (sawing tile which is so irritating) and we were not offered any compensation for our discomfort. Hard to relax outside with all that noise. For this price point, I expected more for our 30th wedding anniversary.

Great house…this was our 2nd stay (first 8 years ago), The house is aging.The dining room chairs are ripped and the dining room table needs an upgrade.In the kitchen all non-tick pots and pans need to be replaced. The all have gouges &scrapes that make them toxic.Operating the TV with two different remotes was a bit confusing….go to one remote.These may seem to us picking at knits but you asked.All in all a great house and we loved staying there. Thank you for making it available

Kihei Paradise - Even Better Than Pics

Our family had an amazing time. We are short term rental property owners, and we travel a lot. Our standards are high. We had a fantastic experience! The pics are great. The place looks even better in-person. The owner (Joy), ops contact (Stacy) and mgr (Mike) were exceptionally nice and patient and helpful. Our stay was special!

House fell short of expectations.

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. The freezer was broken, and leaking water on the kitchen floor the night we arrived. Not at all what we felt like dealing with, after a long trip from the East Coast! The refrigerator was warm. A repair person came out twice to try to fix the freezer, but was unable to get the part needed. We had to buy bags of ice for four days, until a small refrigerator was brought over, which then sat in the dining room during our stay. The hot tub also wasn’t working when we arrived. Two pool guys came out 3 times to fix it, and it was finally usable on day 4 of our trip, after the heater was replaced. The hall bath toilet didn’t flush properly, and the bathtub didn’t drain well. The bedroom with the twin beds had a broken window blind, and the ceiling fan barely moved. We had to request a standing fan so we could sleep at night. The A/C doesn’t cool the two bedrooms enough, while the primary suite is too cold. I requested a pack and play and high chair for my grandson to use ahead of time, and was told by the property manager, that both would be set up for us, and they weren’t. I had to call to find out where they were, locate them in the locked storage shed, and clean and set them up myself. The property borders a public beach where we had to listen daily to a group of people who were on the other side of the property wall, talk loudly, curse and smoke weed. The property manager was out of the country during our stay, and I was asked to direct any questions or concerns to a repairman. He did try to rectify all the problems, but it was very annoying to have to call/text him every day for the first five days of our stay. Repair people were coming and going, and we felt like we had no privacy. My family was looking forward to relaxing and de-stressing on this trip, but instead, we ended up more stressed than when we arrived. I honestly would not recommend this property, and I most definitely would not stay here again.

Joan is correct about the freezer and hot tub not working. They were working for the previous guests. We had the spa repaired as soon as the part came in and provided a loaner freezer. The hall bathroom toilet is a low flushing toilet and works fine by holding the handle down for a few seconds. The bathroom drain was repaired after Joan left because she didn't want repair men invading her privacy. The bedroom with twin beds did not have a broken blind and the ceiling fan switch just needed to be pushed up like a dimmer switch. The air-conditioning has been checked and works as well as possible. And the ceiling fan can be used to make the guest rooms cooler. The thermostat in the main bedroom can be adjusted to a comfortable temperature. Not mentioned in the review was that one of our cleaners passed away suddenly and the other cleaner had a hip replacement around this time. The new hire is working out very well but didn't understand it was her responsibility to set up the pack and play and highchair. All the beaches in Hawaii are public. The operations manager was available by phone or email the entire time she was gone. Our general manager/repairman did get people to fix the freezer. The hot tub people did not need to come inside the house to make their repairs. We did offer her a $300.00 gift certificate at a restaurant of her choice for the inconveniences she experienced. However, she did not take us up on this offer. We take pride in providing a beautiful, clean, well-maintained property for visitors to enjoy during their Maui vacations.

Our Maui Beech House

Very, very comfortable. A few strides to a wonderful beach. Plus a lap pool. Extremely clean & very well stocked with provisions—even beach chairs. Walking distance to take-out food options.

Best. Vacation. Ever.

This property is nothing short of amazing. Conveniently nestled right on the beach in low-key Kihei, you will struggle to leave the house and venture out because you have everything you need. The house is well-appointed in every room, complete with the fluffiest "rental" towels I've ever encountered. The cabinet is full of games. The outdoor lounge space is plentiful and comfortable. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, flippers and such....and, well, the beach is steps away. Seriously, it's like living a dream. If you are reading this review, stop right now and book this house for your next vacation. You will not regret it.

Amazing place!

We had such a wonderful time at this house! Really didn’t want to leave. The location is great -right on the beach and within walking distance to stores and restaurants. We spent lots of time watching whales from the patio and swimming in the pool or beach. The house is spacious and beautiful. Stacy was great with her communication and help! We are so thankful!

Best VRBO We've Ever Stayed In!

The beachfront location, lap pool/spa/wading pool and the layout of this house are perfect. Every room (except for one of the three bedrooms) has stellar ocean views and the retracting glass doors create an incredible indoor/outdoor lifestyle. The house is full of thoughtful touches and comfortably accommodated our group of 6 adults. We enjoyed watching whales from the patio, cooking in the spacious well-equipped kitchen, playing games around the dining room table and relaxing on the patio. Stacy, the house manager, was exceptionally responsive and immediately addressed anything that came up during our three-week stay. The team working with Stacy also was a delight to interact with. We've already made plans to return next year and we can't wait!!

This property is an absolute gem. Everything you could possibly want or need, tons of amenities. The pool and being ocean front were our favorite perks. You can’t beat the spot. Our 3 year old and ourselves had an incredible time and were so sad when we had to leave! We will be back! Thanks to Stacy for her fantastic communication as well!

Perfect oceanfront place for relaxation and Aloha

This is our favorite Maui retreat with the kids. The home provides everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Location is perfect for enjoying time on the beach, close to snorkeling, surfing, and dining. Property management is easy to work with and always very accessible. We love coming back here time and time again!

Perfectly Amazing

We stayed with our grown kids, spouses and grandkids and ha a fabulous time together. This home and property are better than we expected or imagined. The pools and beach were especially fun for all. We are thankful!

A piece of paradise

In a crazy year, the Nelson's home was a welcome place to recharge. The beach really is footsteps away. We loved the hot tub and pools, and the kitchen was a great place to make meals for our group. The recent remodel to the master bedroom and bathroom are stunning. Can't wait to come back next year!
