Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. We’re glad to hear the property met your expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort. We’re sorry to hear the stairs presented a challenge during your stay. In the listing’s general description, we do note that the apartment is located at the back of the building with two flights of stairs and no wheelchair access, and we also include a photo of the stairway for added clarity. That said, we truly appreciate your comment, as it prompted us to update the listing header to more prominently highlight the stairs to help future guests quickly determine if the space is a good fit for their needs. We hope the rest of your visit to Nauvoo was enjoyable, and we’d love to host you again—perhaps at one of our more accessible listings. Thanks again for your thoughtful review!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay and found the location convenient for exploring Nauvoo. It’s great to know the layout and amenities—especially the large beds and AC units—helped make your stay comfortable during the summer heat. We also appreciate your feedback about the ceiling fan and lighting. Safety and comfort are top priorities for us, and your suggestions are very helpful as we look for ways to improve the space for future guests. We're glad you had a chance to enjoy the fireflies from the balcony—such a special part of summer evenings here! Thank you again for staying with us, and we’d be happy to welcome you back anytime.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you encountered upon arrival. We understand how frustrating it must have been to find the apartment unprepared and the check-in delay affecting your plans. We do manage two listing sites with synced calendars, but unfortunately, there was a rare glitch that caused a scheduling mix-up. Since then, we have implemented new systems and double-check processes to ensure this never happens again. We appreciate your patience and understanding during the cleaning resolution and are glad to hear you were still able to enjoy your vacation despite the setback. Thank you for your feedback—it helps us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a much smoother experience in the future.
