It was the perfect home for our multi generational family vacation. It had Everything we needed, and it was all good quality cooking equipment Bring your own beach and pool toys but that’s simple! Everything was super clean

The Perfect Beach Getaway

Our stay at Salty Breeze was relaxing and exactly what we were hoping for! The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We would definitely return without hesitation. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The BEST Location!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at The Salty Breeze! The home is located in the heart of Duck, making restaurants, shops and coffee conveniently located within walking distance. The beach and recreation center is a short walk away as well. The home is very spacious and has ample bedrooms and bathrooms for one or multiple families. We hope to stay at The Salty Breeze in the near future- it was perfect for our family!

The house was nice and worked out well for our family of 13. The kids loved the pool. The hot tub was not our favorite. (It gave off a mild shock while I was in it. ) He had someone check it, a letter was stated. But we won't go back in. The host got back very quickly with all our questions. The walk to the beach and town were pleasant. We would go back. But I still don't recommend the hot tub.

Outstanding Vacation Rental

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Salty Breeze in Duck! The house was in excellent condition and ready to go upon our arrival. The small details were great, such as the comfy beds and soap and hair products in the bathrooms. The owner was very responsive when we reached out with an issue and had it resolved almost immediately. We have been vacationing in Duck for about 20 years and this was one of our top stays!

We had a wonderful stay at Salty Breeze. Robert is an excellent host and responded very quickly and kept us up to date from start to finish. There was so much space to spread out with our group. The kitchen came fully equipped with everything we needed. Suggest brining your own spices if you want more than salt, cumin, and cinnamon. I loved sitting on the deck each morning listening to the birds and soaking in the vitamin D. We even had a doe and 2 fawns visit the backyard a few times. It was an easy 6 minute walk to the beach and 5-10 walk to restaurants and shops. The week went too fast. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Salty Breeze. The house was very clean, and looked freshly painted and well maintained throughout. Plus it was well equipped with the basics and included some items we don't typically see at most rentals (such as beach towels, a crockpot, & laundry soap). The location was great for walking to the park, boardwalk etc and if you had more stuff to haul to the beach than you wanted to carry, you could park a car at the beach access clubhouse area as the house includes a parking pass.

Overall the stay was great. The kids enjoyed the pool table and having their own room, with a bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked to include utensils for grilling. Not a deterrent, but believe it’s worth mentioning that the outside and backyard could use some love. Lots of cob webs around the property and stickers in the volleyball pit made it tough to enjoy that feature.

Great House and Vacation Spot

We have rented this house for 3 years. The house had multiple improvements for 2024. Great location very close to town and we always enjoy walking to town, no need to drive. Easy beach access. The home is well-furnished and included everything we needed for a comfortable week. We used the grill and pool. It is always nice to have a master bath for each bedroom. Another successful year of vacation in Duck!

When with my family and we all loved the house. It was definitely one of not the cleanest house that we’ve ever stay. Everything was spotless. The house was very close to a bunch of restaurants, shops and bars. Basically walking distance from everything you’ll need. The kids loved the pool and all of the games included in the house. My wife was very happy because they even had kids kitchen plates for the kids as well. Definitely recommend to anyone. The staff were very polite and make sure our stay was the best

Totally spectacular and awesome

We had the best time ever . The house was amazing, decorated beautifully, and spacious for our family . We arrived to a clean and welcoming home . We have been on many vacations with house rentals and this house was above and beyond . The community is beautiful and friendly . Plenty of things close by to enjoy such as bike riding , restaurants, fishing , relaxing on the beach or just relaxing at Salty Breeze in the pool And hot tub. The owners are very informative and respond to any concerns quickly . I (we) can’t wait to come back .
