Very relaxing cottage within walking distance to the best seafood restaurants. Cozy and cute. Clean rooms, kitchen, laundry room and wonderful outdoor seating area by the river. Host, Chris, was very receptive to our visit being enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage on the water in Northeast. The house itself was very clean and had all of the amenities you could need for our stay. The backyard was very picturesque and located on the water with a boat dock. it was located close to a scenic park, the town, and a restaurant on the water. We look forward to renting this cottage again and I would highly recommend.

Adorable cottage with all the necessary amenities and well maintained. Owner has put great care into all the details. Easy walk to North East stores and restaurants and directly across street from beautiful community park. Shared backyard has ample outdoor seating with lovely water view. Perfect for watching all the water fowl.

We so enjoyed our time here. The property outside was beautifully done with areas for eating, entertaining and watching nature at her best. The inside was fully stocked with everything you would need, the air conditioning was great. Can't wait to return.

This property was perfect. Great location just off main st. We fished in the backyard, we walked down main st., we ate crabs, we walked to the park. What more could you ask for? Host were great and the property was exactly as advertised. We hope to be back next year!

We had a lovely stay at the property. We chose it for its pet friendly acceptance. It’s perfect as it’s all one level and our 12 yr old Lab was able to navigate without issue which was most important. The location is just outside town and it was quiet and tranquil. Slept peacefully and was able to enjoy the patios and proximity to the water and park. We walked into town, enjoyed a dinner out and the neighbors were very friendly!.The check in and check out were very easy. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. Great water pressure, I’ve stayed on other locations in North East where the water pressure for showers was awful!The kitchen was well equipped and a nice dining area.

My wife, dog and 91 year old mother in law stayed for just a few days. The sick and river were full of wild life and fun to watch. Very peaceful.A park and marina at the end of the street. A short 2 minute drive to the shops and restaurants on Main Street.Take note that many shops are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays so that was a bummer since those were the days we stayed.If you like to play games bring them with you.

It was a delightful stay, clean, safe and so comfortable. The kitchen was equipped to use, and included little extras you appreciate. The comfort this home offered was prefect:Comfortable beds, cleanliness and views for relaxing. I will stay here again on my next visit.

Very comfortable cottage with adorable decor! Thank you Chris and Tara for a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed hanging out on the dock and fishing.North East Family restaurant for breakfast was great. Super friendly staff and great food!

The Perfect Place

Was looking for a cute place to spend the weekend with my college roommates - we've gotten together annually for 25 years - and this place was perfect! Great location, great hosts, super cute decor, comfy beds, awesome outdoor seating areas, and to be able to walk everywhere was a bonus! Definitely hope to stay here again soon!

Tara and Chris were incredibly helpful and responsive - we had a great time at their lovely cottage. So much to do in the area! Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay. Extremely clean and in a great location. We loved the ability to walk to the water and into town to experience the coffee shops and antique stores. Definitely try the candy shop! Tara and Chris were very responsive throughout our stay. Super accommodating and made our parents weekend at the University of Delaware extremely enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Lovely experience. Sat along shores of tidal stream and watched birds fly up and down river and fish jumping. Park across the street hosted a community picnic and wonderful restaurants nearby. Beautifully appointed quiet with comfy beds!
