Escape to Anchors Away cottage in picturesque Elkton. This cozy retreat features 2 bedrooms with a king and queen bed, 2 bathrooms with showers, and two living rooms. A dining area that seats 4. There are also Smart TV's in every room. Enjoy the beautiful back porch with romantic sunsets. A bbq grill is available for use. Plus modern amenities like a washer and dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, AC, and WiFi. A boat slip is included with the rental. The slip is located a short way down the road. There is ample parking for your boat trailer. So come and enjoy our cottage at Anchors Away.

What an excellent place to stay! The kitchen had everything we needed in it and it was so helpful to be able to do laundry during our longer stay.

Cute house in a great location. The house was clean, the beds, sofa and dining room are comfortable and we were able to find everything we needed easily. There is ample deck space to enjoy being quite literally on the water. Angela, the host, is super communicative. We had an awesome stay and look forward to staying here again.

The house is so beautiful and comfortable with spectacular views of the river. We loved the spacious deck that sits so close to the water it almost feels like you are floating in it. We highly recommend staying here!

We cannot think of ANYTHING that we could even define as an inconvenience or a problem. The view from the deck was absolutely beautiful, and the sunsets were out of this amazing and we got some great pictures,I can't think of an appliance and/or cookware that was not available if needed. The bed was great and we both have back issues as Barb in 77 and I am 82. I mention that as we had no problems navigating the anywhere in the very spacious and well laid out living quarters.We had several questions while there and a text to the host was answered almost immediately in most cases. Overall, the most relaxing 4 days we have had in the past several months. Thank you, Angie, for a great CLEAN place to relax and enjoy the river.

Cottage wkend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed this cottage and location for weekend during lacrosse tournaments. Much better than staying in hotel and perfect on the water to enjoy some family time! Thanks Angela!

The house was adorable and a much bigger living room area than I thought. Very comfortable. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry room were well stocked with anything and everything needed. The outside patio/deck area was wonderful. There even was a bald eagle on the deck one of the days. The host was easily accessible to answer any questions. Would definitely stay there again if ever back in the area!! Our daughter was graduating from Univ of Delaware and this was perfect. Only 30 minutes away!!

Charming stay on the water

Great, cozy, quiet little spot! Perfect for 4 adults and a baby. My 1.5 year old loved exploring the deck with an amazing water view, and gained lots of confidence navigating the little steps throughout the house and worked on her balance. Kitchen was well appointed and suited our needs. Would stay here again!

Perfect house. Looks alot smaller in the pictures and when you actually pull up but once you get inside, there is plenty of space and literally has everything you need.
