For the price we paid it was not high end. Location was wonderful but property lacked comfortable seating in the living area and adequate lighting in the bedroom.

The location of this property is perfect for access to the beach and sunset views and to walk into town. Very comfortable beds and kitchen is fully outfitted.A highlight of our trip was watching the Elk herds cross the Ecola creek to get to the beach.Only downside to the property was that it is two bedrooms that can hear one another snore and also only one bathroom available that has to be negotiated if there are two couples (4 adults) occupying the property.Nonetheless, we were very happy with the property and we would stay there again.

This was the perfect spot for a family vacation! The direct beach access was amazing and my 2 and 4 year old got onto the sand multiple times a day! Being close the creek was really nice for their age too. Also were able to walk to dinner, grocery, park every day. The home itself was super clean and organized. We would 100% recommend!

This property is a treasure! Our second time staying here. Well-equipped, incredible location right on beach and close to shops/restaurants. Clean and comfortable for our family of four and small dog. Enjoyed the puzzles, coffee maker, easy to use TVs, sand toys and beach chairs. Wonderful, communicative hosts. Thank you! We hope to return.

Stayed for just one night but found the apartment to be clean and well equipped. Host has thorough documentation on all aspects of the stay and signage to differentiate the rental unit from the other apartments on the property. Know that you will need to walk up a flight of stairs but it’s well lit. Overall the location was good and the views of the coast were beautiful.

This property was just perfect for my husband, daughter, son in law and 15-moods grandson! I’ve never seen a better equipped kitchen—fabulous pans!—plus a high chair and pac n play for the baby. Everything we needed plus a stunning beach view and location! We would have rated it excellent, but the breakers kept getting tripped when we used the stove—we finally unplugged everything g in the kitchen to get it to work—and the bathroom sink was leaking, very difficult to turn off. Once the plumbing and electrical are repaired, this place will be excellent! Hosts were very responsive, but we didn’t want an electrician in with a baby who needed to nap!

Sandcastle was clean and cosy with great views of the beach and sea. The location was great with beach access and an easy walk into the town where there were multiple restaurants. Ecola state park is also close by with picturesque hikes and views. Highly recommend and would come back again

We had an amazing time in Cannon Beach, and this property was perfect for our trip. The location is hard to beat, with easy beach access, beautiful views, and everything we needed close by. It was so nice being able to walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and local spots without having to drive everywhere.The home was comfortable, clean, and well equipped for our stay. We especially enjoyed the balcony, the beach chairs, and the relaxed coastal feel of the property. It was a great place to unwind after exploring Cannon Beach and watching the sunset.The host made the stay easy, and the property matched exactly what we were hoping for: convenient, peaceful, and right by the ocean. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cannon Beach.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sandcastle! The home is in an incredible location, just steps from the beach and within easy walking distance to everything in town. Malia and Arnie were excellent hosts, very easy to communicate with and helpful in answering all our questions. I'd highly recommend their home for anyone planning a relaxing getaway!

Thank you for the opportunity to review the property. The positives: access to the estuary beach was excellent; the deck surrounding the second level property was great. We enjoyed the downtown area that was accessible by walking. The electric charger for our EV was definitely a plus. The channel selection on the television was nice and we loved the fireplace. The decor was really nice, with beach accents. We have no comments on the appliances, except the coffee maker and dishwasher, because we ate mostly at local establishments. The bathroom was very clean, as was the bedroom. Sheets were also clean and the bed was wonderful. We did not stay in one bedroom while we were there. The reason we gave it a four-star rating is because when we arrived, my wife stepped off a concrete step below the wooden staircase, and fell hard on the concrete and into a sharp metal decoration, causing bruises and cuts. A suggestion: paint a caution line in red or yellow on the edge of the step. Secondly, we did not realize – our fault – that the property is second floor. The wood steps were challenging. In fact, coming down, my wife, who had recent knee surgery, slipped on a wet step and fell again. We saw that the steps had some traction coverage; but not the entirety. Lastly, the carpet in the apartment needs stretching to prevent falls.Thank you for sharing the property with us. We would recommend it for future guests.Cannon Beach is truly a beautiful destination spot in Oregon.
