Anniversary retreat celebration

We have always loved Black Butte, and it is a special place for us. We have been coming here since the early 80’s. The beauty cannot be matched. The whole area is our happy place. This particular condo is nicely appointed. Very comfortable, and has such beautiful views. It is close enough to the things we want to do if we decided to go out, or stay and enjoy the beauty and serenity. It is not our first time in this place, and we hope to be coming back soon. You will find so much to do here, you will not have an easy time choosing which things you do now, and what you will have to come back for! If you love the outdoors, it is heaven.

Spectacular view

We used to own a house at BBR and admired these condos with their spectacular views. In recent years the resort has been improved in important ways (new pool, bistro, walking trails, putting course). This unit with the exception of some wear (e.g., spots on rug) is quite well-equipped, and maintained. It’s hard to realize that these units were built about 50 years ago. The description of the unit is accurate. I would only add that the three bedrooms each have a “balcony” overlooking the dining room, with sliding “barn” doors to keep our the sound. The views from the 3rd floor bedroom are the most beautiful. I highly recommend this unit.

Country Home 50 Escape

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the view and natural light of this property and the reading lights for book lovers! It was comfortable and fit our family, enough utensils and glasses! There are three flights of stairs which might deter some and no means of carting your gear, groceries from the parking lot to the home! There is no garage. The heating is a bit uneven- hot in some bedrooms, cool in others but we had a lovely time and management was very helpful in providing what was needed quickly. We are rebooking.

Great location with view and great configuration / floor plan

Just as shown in pictures. Everything was in good repair. Due to skiing & plans in Sisters and Bend during our stay we wanted a place close to the entrance of Black Butte so that we didn't have to tack on another 10-20 minutes round trip if in one of the B.B. properties further in. This fit the bill. It was also only 100-200 yards to the swim center and the cafe. The unobstructed views over the meadow and of the mountain was spectacular. On this trip is was just my wife, daughter, and me, but this would be a great condo to share with another family. There are two really nice "adult bedrooms", and a bunk room with three beds. There are two dining tables that would easily accommodate a full-house (something that many vacation homes seem to not get right - i.e. a house that can accommodate 10 people may only have dining capacity for 8 people). Memory foam mattress super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip if it was available.

Repeat rental

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented CHC 50 multiple times for 10+ day stints. The location, spectacular view, and general layout suit us very well. The unit is well appointed, except the bed pillows are a bit lumpy and soft and it would be nice to have them replaced (particularly for longer stays like ours).

Wonderful Getaway Accommodations

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We usually stay in the Country House Condos when we go to BBR. This is the first time we stayed at this property. We found the accommodation to be excellent and will stay here again. The house is bigger than the one we stayed in the past. The property management company was professional and quick to resolve a couple of minor maintenance items we encountered. The house was fully stocked.

Perfect stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very comfortable condo. Lovely views. Great location. We stayed with our two teens. It was nice to be able to walk to lodge easily. New bed in master was great. There are lots of stairs so that might not work for anyone with mobility issues. Kitchen is a little small but that didn’t really bother us. I saw some other reviews about how the place needed a cleaning but it was spotless for us, very clean and they left cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer. Overall, a great place!!!
