This cabin was a perfect match for our springbreak trip. It had so many fun things to do in the cabin for the kids and adults. It was also a perfect location to walk anywhere in town. We would definitely stay here again.

Vacation

Stayed here twice now, perfect for a couple families. Love the view from the porch and love the cabin! We will be staying there again.

Great Place for a Family

We recently stayed here with our 3 teenagers and enjoyed this cabin!! From the Great views to the game room downstairs it was a great visit to escape the desert heat!!

Great place to visit to get away from day to day life.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. Easy check in and out. After playing outside we enjoyed the view from the deck. Definitely would stay again.

The house was spacious and had plenty of room for our family of 12. The driveway is extremely steep and only 2 of our 4 cars could make it up, with no rain or snow. We loved it here and got a lot of use out of the game room and loved the huge kitchen.

The home is a great place to accommodate a family gathering such as we had. The choice of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms worked well for us. The only issue there was that the king bed was so tall that it was difficult and a little precarious to get in and out of the bed, even for a grown man.The biggest challenge for the whole visit was the very steep unpaved driveway. Our SUV was not able to drive up the hill and only the 4 wheel drive trucks in our party were able to do this. The hill is covered with loose rocks and the traction was difficult even for walking, We had to use 4WD vehicles to move all luggage and food boxes into and out of the house. It is mentioned that the front steps are an option, but they are a tough climb, especially at 8300 feet elevation. These conditions should be clearly explained.

Lovely get away!

We enjoyed our stay at the Ridge house very much! The drive way was a challenge for non 4 wheel drive vehicles, it was a beautiful place.

This was a family Get-A-Way trip, celebrating my wife & my 70th Birthdays. We know Greer & were excited about this location. The views were gorgeous as advertised. But after that, it was all downhill. I never received a notice with check-in instructions. Once we got to the property, we found out the street number was not correct in the ad. From the photos, we knew we had the right house, but with no way of getting in. I tried calling several different numbers. Kept getting VM. We found a slider door w/broken lock & entered that way. Then received a call from the office of the property management company, & they had to call the house cleaners to find out what the code was to the door. They couldn't reach them. After a couple of hours, we finally received the code. We found oven grates on the middle of the kitchen floor. The oven was making a beeping sound w/blinking light. We discovered strips of bacon in the dishwasher, apparently not eaten & placed in the dishwasher still on the plate! Over the weekend, we found very few dishes & cutlery for how many it sleeps & small appliances that had some of the components, but not all of them, so we couldn't use them. One interesting note is that NO WHERE in the description did it tell us it takes a 4-wheel drive high clearance vehicle to get up the driveway. Would have been nice to know that. The view & location are the draw, but once there, we were disappointed. My gang will be staying at a different STR next year. Very sad.

Perfect Cabin Near Sunrise!

14 of us 1 dog came up for my friends birthday for a snowboarding trip - Sunrise was an easy 25 min drive from the cabin and I was so happy to be able to bring my dog to see snow for her first time! The cabin was great - very homey, with a fireplace on each level, nice tv with soundbar you can connect via Bluetooth to play music, and my favorite part - THE KITCHEN! I made everyone breakfast, dinner and dessert at the cabin one day and the double ovens with the large stove top was amazing. Plus they have so many pots & pans for you to use The cabin is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, in a tiny town of maybe 50 people, so was fairly shocked that the local convenient store that is about a 5 min drive had a pretty decent selection of groceries & booze! We will definitely be back on our next snowboarding trip to sunrise!

We had a wonderful time at the Ridgehouse! The deck is THE place to be any time of the day or night. Just spectacular! The kitchen is also the place to be. Lots of room and counter top, double ovens, awesome gas stove, and every pan or utensil you might need. The location is just perfect for walking or hiking around Greer. The living room is comfy and the dining table is perfect for a large group. The game room downstairs is also a nice area to relax and have some quiet time. The team at Lost Resorts could not have been more accommodating. We had to contact them for a couple of things and they were immediately responsive. Be aware that the driveway is very steep and there are a lot of steps to get into the house. But we can't wait to stay here again! Thank you for a great visit!

We stayed 3 nights and the initial day of arrival the cabin was at 50 degrees not warm at all for arriving guest, Thermostats were not functioning. Maintenance arrived and had to remove the base from the thermostat to reset them. I do HVAC for 30 years, so I know what the problem was. finally, at about 4am it was heating up, mind you the maintenance didn't arrive till like 8pm and had to return with portable heaters.Tammy was not responsive promptly and stopped communicating after this issue,light bulbs needed replacingThe mattresses were so worn out in every bed, guest could feel the springs in the bunk bedroom the master bed has a huge dip from heavy bodies over timeThe cabin was very dusty and two of my guests had allergies issues immediately after arrival.downstairs two bedroom was very dustyBBQ grill was badly dirty not cleaned from previous guestPositives- great viewspaciousgreat for guest with teens or young familiesI would have hoped that someone would have reached out with more caring or concerning with the initial arrival issues it was 15 degrees over the first nighi will be deputing a portion of our stay

Honest Review of Our StayUnfortunately, our stay at this home was a major disappointment. The pictures are extremely misleading, and the reality of the property fell far below acceptable standards — especially for the price we paid.1. The driveway is dangerous. To reach the home, you must drive up a steep, long gravel driveway filled with huge potholes. A 4‑wheel or all‑wheel drive vehicle is absolutely necessary. My sister had a 2‑wheel drive and had to park at the bottom and climb a long set of stairs just to reach the house.2. The kitchen was dirty. We opened the dishwasher to find dishes with caked‑on food still stuck to them. Pots in the cupboards were also dirty. We had to wash everything before using it.3. The furniture is in terrible condition. Both upstairs and downstairs, the furniture was stained, torn, and even had stuffing coming out of the cushions. It felt neglected and unclean.4. The beds are impractical and unsafe. The king‑size beds sit at least four feet off the ground. We needed a step stool to get into them. My elderly mother struggled significantly, and it was not safe or comfortable.5. The towels were old and unpleasant. They were worn out, rough, and not what you’d expect from a vacation rental at this price point. Overall, the home is poorly maintained and absolutely not worth what we paid per night. The only positive was the view — but that alone does not make up for the condition of the property.
