The Sunny Spot was a great place to stay in Portland. We loved being so close to the Harbor. It was clean. The area is safe. If you are into biking there is a nice greenbelt bike/hike path just up the street from the apt. We also appreciated the personalized touches provided by our hosts. Would stay here again.

Great little spot away from traffic. Recommend not bringing a bunch of luggage unless you want to haul up 1.5 flights of steep stairs. Bed was comfy. Shower/bathroom is a little small but to be expected for a small apartment.

This is a perfect location. 6 minutes from downtown Portland. Secure, Clean and Jen was a Perfect and attentive host. It is a hidden Gem!

The stairs (two sets) are a safety hazard for sure and if your older this might not be the place for you. We had to leave our luggage in the car and work out it there as there was no way we were going to get it up those stairs. Old house with a soft spot in the wood near the bathroom. Floors not level so it throws you off a bit. Close to Sopo which was an excellent restaurant. It was very clean but small.

We love staying in South Portland. So close to Portland without the congestion. Close to everything if you have a car or uber. Apartment was clean and so cute. Bed extremely comfortable. I have read previous reviews about parking. Here is a helpful hint, when parking, try to turn around and back in for ease when leaving. I would also say to bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise due to window air conditioner. Thanks Jennifer for a great time at your accommodation!

Jennifer provided quick responses to any of my questions. Parking was easy, the location was PERFECT. The property was cute as a button. It was full of charm, just the right size and very clean. Fully equipped kitchen, soft towels, bath robes, little treats, lights with outlets to charge my phone....every detail was considered. Thank you!

Super convenient location and a three-minute Uber drive to downtown Portland. The CIA cafe up the street was lovely and it was actually pleasant to be slightly removed from all the activity in town.

Exactly what we needed- South Portland

Lovely South Portland Spot

We had a fantastic time at Jennifer’s place! It’s a tucked away spot and we were given perfect instructions to enter. Very beautiful, comfortable, and clean, and had a great dinner in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

What a cute place! The space is bright and there is plenty of natural lighting thanks to the sky lights. The whole space was immaculate, including the floors. After walking barefoot, my feet were still clean. It is located within walking distance to several cute shops and good restaurants. Whenever we wanted to go into Portland, it was a 5 minute Uber ride. I highly recommended this rental, and if I am ever back in the area, I would definitely stay here again. The host, Jennifer, was wonderful and easy to reach if we needed to.

Such a sweet spot!

We had a great stay! The apartment was super clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the extra amenities were appreciated.We walked to dinner (Cafe Louise) and spent the day in the Old Port which was a 5-minute drive from the house. Thanks so much Jennifer!

Perfect place to stay in the Portland area. Not a busy area, lots of places within a very short walking distance. The apartment is a perfect size for two, decorated so cute and cozy. Bed was so comfortable, too. The stairs up are a bit steep but wasn't difficult for us. We didn't use the kitchen but it is fully stocked. We walked to Cia Cafe every morning for the perfect breakfast and coffee.

Clean and beautiful

This property was just as pictured and the decor is phenomenal. Check in was easy, directions were spot on, and communication from the property manager was great. A/Cs worked well. The place was super clean and had all the amenities as if you were staying at home. Area was pretty quiet and had a grocery store and food close by.
