We had a great stay at this beautiful property. The owner was very responsive and helpful, the cabin was super clean with three big bathrooms, and the lake access was fantastic (loved the canoe), with great fishing! Highly recommend, thank you for the stay Marti!

We had a wonderful time at this property!! Check in was so easy and everything in the home was clearly laid out. We really appreciated the views from every room and the easy access to the dock and lake. When we return to this area, we will absolutely look to rebook this property.

We come here every year and it never disappoints. Beautiful, clean, and well appointed house on the lake. This year we were lucky enough to experience the lunar eclipse from the dock. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us, Marti!

Clean, roomy lake house with great water and trail accessWe stayed at Marti's lake house on Lake Burton in Rabun County and would book it again.The house was clean when we arrived. Floors, kitchen, bathrooms, and linens were all in good shape, and nothing needed attention before we could settle in.It's a two-story home with plenty of room. The bedrooms are a good size, and the bathrooms are larger than what you usually find in rentals.The two decks are big, with enough space for the whole group to sit outside at once. We ate most of our meals out there. The grill worked well and was ready to use. There's also a good amount of outdoor seating away from the deck if you want a quieter spot.The boat dock made it easy to get on the water, and we used it every day for boating, water skiing, and canoeing. When we wanted a break from the lake, local hiking trails were close by. The house was well stocked, so we didn't have to make a store run for basics like paper towels, dish soap, or cooking supplies.If you're looking for a comfortable, roomy place on Lake Burton with good outdoor space and easy access to the lake and trails, this is a solid choice.

This location exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and cozy. We were able to enjoy the dock and the screened porch. Loved that we were able to bring our pup along with us. She loved the dock. Beautiful view. Also appreciated how well equipped the home was in the kitchen - everything you could need! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Check in and check out was incredibly easy. The host was quick to respond to any questions. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful lake cottage! The screened in top deck is where we spent most of our time. We rented this place for my birthday weekend, and the host had a Happy Birthday banner hanging on the fireplace when we arrived. Such a thoughtful touch! We highly recommend this place, and hope to stay again sometime.

This beautiful getaway was EXACTLY what we needed! Such a gorgeous, clean, welcoming home and the view was spectacular! Marti was wonderful—she was communicative and took care of everything. Our group ranged from age 11 to age 79 and we would all love to come back again in the future!

This was an excellent experience. The host was great and the house was set up amazingly. Everything you would need was there and marked it was so easy. The view was great. The cabin was very spacious and clean the gardens were a nice bonus. We will go again.

We could have not had a better experience. Everything was comfortable and organized. There is nothing the owners have not thought of to accommodate guests. This is a beautiful property.
Sunset on a very exciting day which included the engagement of our youngest, Robbie who grew up fishing and boating on beautiful Burton!

Marti is an exceptional host in every way. Communication was excellent at all times. The cottage is absolutely beautiful as is the property overlooking the lake. Cleanliness AAA. Everything has been thought of to make guests feel at home right away from kitchen and bath supplies to comfy furniture, fast internet and big screen TV. Nothing has been overlooked! We have added this property to our best of the best list and expect many more happy returns to this special place!

Beautiful Location

This was our first stay at Lake Burton and this was an excellent choice! Marti the owner is very responsive to queries, the check in was easy and we loved the home. Easy access to the dock complete with kayaks and a canoe and Marti gave us details of hikes and local restaurants. Our dogs and family had a fun time!

Memorable lakeside accommodations

Our expectations were exceeded by this exceptional lakeside property. Everything we could have imagined and we have big imaginations! Clean, comfortable, inviting, well appointed, spacious, are view words that come to mind. Lake Burton was a big hit with our San Diego family as well.
