Great house with a beautiful view. We really enjoyed the kayaks and swimming in the lake. We were happy that it is close to sliding rock and Angel Falls, both of which were a great experience. All in all it was a wonderful experience!!

This is our second time here... and we love it! It is the perfect getaway for our bookclub. The scenic views and open living area make it perfect for enjoying company! The dock is our favorite. Rusty was super responsive and accommodating. We hope to be back!

This was a super cozy, charming place to stay for our extended family. The weekend we booked, the weather ended up being pretty much constant rain and everyone still had a great time. There is a view from every room on the main floor of this house and lots of different seating areas outdoors and in for enjoying the view. There are books to read, games to play and comfy spots for napping should you happen to be there on a rainy day. In the weather windows we had, we enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and boating (rental from Anchorage marina). We would definitely book this home again.

Great views and location

First time staying at this property and the views and location on the lake were the best! Loved all of the water amenities for kids (jumping/fishing off the dock, kayaks, paddle board, boat slip). The views from the main floor were incredible. Would definitely stay again.

Great Lake house on Lake Burton. Most convenient and Best location we have rented the lake in multiple trips. Simple and convenient. Lots of room and well stocked .

The lake house was even better than we ever could’ve imagined!!!! The porch was perfect for morning coffee and dinner under the sunset. There was plenty of places for us to choose to sleep and the master suite bed was very comfy. The pictures do not do the view justice. It was a perfect trip for our book club!

Tons of lake toys provided. Lake view is breathtaking. Close to a couple restaurants, 25 min to grocery plan ahead.

Perfect spot on the lake!

I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful this location is. You can see the lake from every room. Absolutely breathtaking! It’s a quaint cottage that was a comfortable, cozy spot for my husband and I to get away from it all and relax.

Great stay at Sunrise Cottage!

We recently enjoyed a long weekend at this property. The views are great, the dock access is easy and just the overall experience was superb! Rented a pontoon boat at nearby LaPrades Marina and enjoyed a terrific meal there as well. We had a small group of 3 adults, but the cottage can easily accomodate many more, especially kids. Rusty is a great host and we'd definitely stay again if the opportunity arises!

Charming & Convenient

Our family of 4 enjoyed the week- joined by 2 of my son’s friends for 2 days. Love the layout of the house with them downstairs and us up. Great location near LaPrades and Clayton and more. Love the lake toys & we rented a boat. Lake Burton is a joy. Communication was fantastic. Thank you!more.

GORGEOUS VIEW

We loved our stay at Rusty's place. He was such a great host and awesome to work with. The house has gorgeous views. There is a ladder off the deck if you want to bring your floats or swim. You also can just sit upstairs or downstairs at the lake and enjoy the view. Loved coffee in the morning overlooking the lake. GREAT lake access. It is also very convenient to LaPrade's marina which is fabulous for dinner. We will be back!

The view of the lake from almost every room was excellent. A family member docked his boat with ease. When not motor boating we enjoyed the available two kayaks and paddle board. There is also a canoe .The boathouse storage room had an abundance of float noodles and inflatable intertubes and a raft. My young nephew (7) and niece (4) had a blast swimming and floating and then sitting on the dock in two available child-size plastic adirondack chairs.Based on a previous review about a skillet with scratches, i brought one. There is an abundance of other good cookware and baking dishes, plates and tableware. My family has many fond memories from our stay at this serene location.
