This is a true standout of a place to stay... and reminds me why I choose VRBO over hotels. The character, charm and coziness of this place was top notch. Not only is this place decorated so well (nostalgic and local), the bed was amazingly comfortable! The location was perfect for us, and the parking was very reasonable. We would be lucky to stay here again!

Amazing from booking to departure. Location and amenities are spot on. Bed was comfortable, excellent walking distance to restaurants and shops. Everything needed for comfort was included in the rental.

My wife and I visited Annapolis to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we could NOT have asked for a better 'home base' while we explored Annapolis.We kept remarking throughout our stay that the place was just perfect. Well appointed, immaculate, comfortable, the right size, and an easy place to hang before our next event, as well as a nice place to come back to.Lauren was super responsive and kindly extended her well wishes for our anniversary, which was a much appreciated nice touch.We look forward to our next visit!

The Captain's Quarters did not disappoint

This property is lovely, such a nicely renovated home. We were there for a USNA reunion and it was perfectly located for walking to everything. The memorabilia in the house is fun to examine, and the house is such efficient use of space. We loved it and hope to be back!

Home away from Home

Fabulous little house close to everything. The hosts did a wonderful job of providing all the necessities we needed during our stay. The house was recently renovated and the owners thought of every detail and great use of space! Would recommend this rental for future travelers.

Great stay in Annapolis!

The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood down to the water, wandering around Annapolis, and attending USNA events. The location was excellent for day trips to the Eastern shore and Frederick.

Great location!

The home was very clean, cozy and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. We visited the Naval Academy and had lunch across the bridge. Nearby we found a great Thai restaurant and cool shops. Everything in the house made our stay comfortable- we’d definitely stay again!

Comfort and Character

This charming cottage walking distance to bars and restaurants (and a longer walk or short drive to USNA) was absolutely perfect. The hosts have not only gone above and beyond to make sure your stay is full of homey amenities (fresh ground coffee, comfortable mattresses and bedding, shampoo/conditioner, and cute guidebook), but the whole home is meticulously decorated in Naval Academy memorabilia and accessories..as proud USNA parents, we absolutely loved it! A perfect stay…..

They have a passion for discovering small houses and restoring them to their former glory, creating inviting spaces for others to enjoy. With two daughters currently away at college, Andrew and Lauren have a bit more time to dedicate to their renovation projects.
Their family has a strong connection to the Navy, with many relatives having served in the military branch. The couple holds a special place in their hearts for the Navy, with this sentiment being honored in their home. The house is dedicated to Lauren's grandfather Captain Bryan Claudy, who served in the Navy. Throughout the house, guests will find various items that belonged to Captain Claudy during his time in the Navy, adding a personal touch and honoring his legacy.
