I’ve been coming to Pier Point since I was 18 months old, and now, at 37, I chose it for my first-ever solo trip. It was such a special experience to return to a place with so many memories and enjoy it in a new way. I felt so safe, secure, and completely at ease throughout my stay. It was the perfect setting to relax and unwind, and the host was extremely responsive, which made the experience even better. This was my first time staying on the third floor, and I’m officially hooked! The view is incredible and made the stay even more special. They were also installing an elevator during my visit, so that’s something future guests can look forward to once it’s completed. One small tip for anyone staying in this particular unit: you need to hold the toilet handles down longer than you might expect for a full flush. I thought something was wrong at first, but they just needed a longer hold!Pier Point has been part of my life for nearly 36 years, and this trip gave me another wonderful memory here.

Stay

The property was wonderful. Everything we needed and really great views. The only problem we had was mosquitoes, several silver fish and something in the sink that looked like a tick (wasn't sure). It wasn't really an issues to us, but may be to the next person. :-) I've stayed in several of the units at Pier Point, but this one was by far the nicest. Thank you!

Perfect Location

We have stayed in other units at Pier Point and have always had an excellent experience. The management company provided informative emails with all instructions for check in and out. This unit has been beautifully renovated. There was a musty smell in the unit, like maybe some of the furniture sat in a storage locker too long. Our biggest issue was the beds...the primary bedroom is not a king as advertised....it is only a queen....and a very bad mattress. One person can sleep ok as it rolls you to the center. The second bedroom had two twins....both of which squeaked whenever you moved. If the owner's had provided furnishings to match the renovation, this unit would be worth the price. We always have a great time in St. Simons but will not stay in this unit again.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us. The new owner is actively making improvements to the property, including plans to replace the queen mattress for added comfort. We’ve corrected the listing to accurately reflect the bed sizes, and we hope to welcome you back again soon. Thanks again for the suggestions to help us improve!
