• Garages and Parking: A 3-car garage and additional parking for 3-4 cars ensure easy access for all. For my guests security and safety a Ring Camera oversees the inside of the garage.

• High-Speed Charge Plug: Conveniently recharge electric car batteries on-site using your own universal charger (charger not provided by host.)

• Spacious Porches: Unwind on one of the two 420 sq. ft. porches, each furnished with hanging beds and lounge chairs. The top-floor porch features a dining table and great views of the ocean and Jekyll Island—ideal for morning coffee or evening sunsets.

• Reliable Power Supply: The natural gas-operated Generac generator guarantees power during outages.

• INTERNET: with Live Oak Fiber as the internet service provider, connectivity remains steady with 5GB upload/download at the entry point.

We so enjoyed our time at Cottage Christine! Martin was an incredible host going above and beyond to make sure we knew how to make the best of our week. This is an incredible home - full of entertainment, beautiful rooms, and lush surroundings. Our favorite afternoon festivity was a swim and the spa after coming off the beach! I highly recommend this beautiful home!! We'll be back!!

Hot tub and pool were perfect. Most homes there are heat failures or issues but not here. Can’t say enough about this experience. It was amazing!

Dear Martin,I can’t thank you enough for the Oasis experience staying at Cottage Christine. EVERYONE thoroughly enjoyed themselves. You had everything we need for the best time. Relaxing & Fun!

The VRBO was amazing!! Just as advertised! And the owner/ host was impeccable with timely responses before arriving and met all our needs while on property. We had an issue with the elevator but he came out immediately and took care of it. I would highly recommend staying here.

I believe we were the first people to stay in this wonderful home. Martin and his wife were the ultimate hosts. I’ve been going to St Simons my whole life and this was as nice a place as we have stayed. It was perfect.

EXCELLENT PROPERTY

I am definitely not exaggerating when I say this house has everything!!! The decor is gorgeous and the beds and furniture are comfortable! This property is well maintained and they thought of everything to make any vacation memorable! We had some that never wanted to even leave the house because of the pool and hot tub area. The beach is SOO close in less than a few minutes you can be sitting on the beach. Martin is EXCELLENT and an awesome communicator. We are already planning to go back and rent this amazing house

One week stay at Christina

Every two years our family takes a trip together. Grandparents choose a location & rent a large house. so that we can come together & enjoy each other. This year we had family from Chicago, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina & Mississippi. Cottage Christine’s was the perfect choice for all of us …ages varying from 81 years to great grandchildren 3 & 1. We were greeted by the owner, Martin, who took us on a detailed tour of his home which included parking, codes, elevator operation, pool, hot tub, game room, kitchen, bedrooms, & 9 bathrooms. The home is exquisitely decorated with everything you could possibly want in a home away from home. By far the nicest accommodation we have rented in recent years.

Amazing House and Location!

The house was everything you could want for a beach vacation! It was beautiful, perfectly clean and spacious. It had everything you needed including pool toys, plenty of beach/pool towels, beach sand toys, plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. Very short walk to the beach! Our elementary age kids were able to run back to the house for a quick bathroom break and to get snacks as often as they wanted. You are dependent on the tide schedule at that part of the island. During high tide the beach is not accessible. But during low tide it was perfect for playing in the sand and looking for all the hermit crabs (there were so many!). We shore fished as well and caught a few small sharks! It is a great house lay out for multiple families! Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes for lots of people as well as multiple dishwashers. Martin was absolutely a dream of a host. Any small hiccups we had, he was prompt and generous in making them right. It was a wonderful stay and we would love to come back one day!

Martin has set the bar high. His vacation rental is by far the nicest we have ever stayed in. This spectacular home is so well stocked you literally just need to bring your clothes! There is an abundance of towels available, the kitchen is filled with every utensil you could ever possibly want, incredible pots and pans, silverware and dishes for at least 30! The dining table accommodated our family of 13 very comfortably. The bedrooms are all beautifully appointed, and each bedroom has a beautiful bathroom, plus 3 half baths. one on each floor. There are pool toys, a great outdoor kitchen, and no shortage of entertainment: billiards, ping pong, foosball, corn hole, darts, arcade games, board games, televisions everywhere, and even a little putting area complete with a few golf clubs! By the way, having a covered pool is brilliant to avoid getting sunburned. Martin forget nothing in this amazing home - he included 12 beach chairs, several beach umbrellas, 2 coolers (and yes, ice packs in the freezer) and he even provided several umbrellas in the garage in case of rain.The house is just a few steps to the beach where we had a great afternoon watching dolphins feeding and swimming in pods.We rented bicycles and a golf car to get around SSI. Thank you Martin for adding to our memories of our annual summer family vacation week.
