Beautiful cabin, our family kayak was wonderful! The beds are extremely comfortable! All was wonderful! Thank you! Also try the North Bend Restaurant down the road it is great!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Every need was supplied well with high end supplies. Thank you. Furniture was very nice but hard for older folks to get out of. Beds were very comfortable. 2nd floor porch was great. Some of the spindles need reinforced. If a child were there and pushed on one it could be dangerous. It wasn’t clear an ATV was not included and trails were closed prior to our stay. Agree TV upstairs would be nice. Night lights in bathrooms would be helpful too.

Overall it was a good experience. We had an issue with the lock on the balcony that left us locked out and stranded for a few hours but other then that; It was a clean and beautiful place and we appreciated the ample space.

We had a great last minute getaway. The house was super clean, beds were comfortable,and the infinity table was fun for everyone!

Thank you to BnB for hosting us. We had an excellent 3 night stay here. The house was immaculate. The layout was perfect for us. The kitchen was clean and appliances in perfect order. The 2nd floor deck was perfect for morning coffee. Loved the downstairs fridge and gameroom (just needs a trash receptacle). We had some great times sitting around the nice fire pit during the evening. Can't ask for better access to the atv trail system. Be aware you need a pass from the DCNR before riding. There is an office about 10 miles down the road.Thanks again for a great stay. We will for sure make plans to stay there again.Alan

The house was clean and beautiful. We'll stocked with all the necessary things. The sauna was a fantastic touch to the end of each long day. For people who like to cook the appliances were gas which is great as well. This house was one of the best houses we have stayed at in recent years.

Very nice rental

Beautiful house that is spotless. All linens are top of the line. Location right on Rt 120 means constant traffic noise but easy access to trail system is a bonus. A bit challenging to park 3 trucks and trailers- bigger parking would be helpful. Overall a really nice place if you don’t mind being right along the highway.

This house was thought out very well in the making. Attention to even small details. Beautifully decorated with beds and linens that are very comfy. Thank you for having us and can’t wait to come visit family again.

The place was well furnished with lots of amenities. It was very clean and modern. Parking was a little tight for three trailers w atv’s to ride the trails. Need to bring or buy your own firewood. We had trouble with the main door lock and handle. Sometimes we were locked out and sometimes locked IN, which was a safety concern . Handle and lock just need to be replaced . Screen door had some tearing on the bottom and doesn't slide well, so it did let some flies in. Dryer doesnt dry clothes well. The location was right along a busy highway which was noisy, but at the same time it was just about 10 or 15 minutes from the Whiskey Springs trailhead. Super convenient! The game table was so nice on a rainy evening! We played all kinds of memory games, coloring, black jack etc. ping pong table was fun too. And corn hole boards were provided too. Made a nice dinner using the grill on the side porch . Beds are a little soft for us, but some people like them that way . All in all it was a great place to stay and make happy memories with friends in the beautiful PA Wilds!

Thank you for staying and for the detailed review. I’m glad the place felt clean and modern and that the game table, ping pong and cornhole helped make your evenings fun. The proximity to Whiskey Springs trailhead is a great perk. We appreciate the notes about tight parking. Safety concerns with the main door lock and handle are important; we will look into replacing them. We will also look into the screen door tear and slider and the dryer not drying well. Noted that the beds are on the softer side and that the highway can be noisy for some.Thanks again for the helpful feedback and for making memories in the PA Wilds.

A wonderful retreat at a thoughtfully furnished cabin

My husband and I took our 13 year old son and his 14 year old best friend on vacation here for five days. We wanted to be in the vicinity of Pine Gorge, but needed dog friendly accomodations. We had to drive over an hour to get to the gorge and the hikes we chose to do, but this was quite manageable with lovely drives. I have never stayed in a VRBO that was furnished as well as this residence. The beds, couches, chairs were all incredibly comfortable. The appliances are all great - and I was impressed at the quality of the cookware and dishes - and not that it matters, I was impressed that everything matched. The kitchen even had storage containers of various sizes to use during our stay - and we used a LOT of them. There was cling wrap and foil to be used as well. And a knife block with decent knives and scissors. We ran a couple of loads of laundry - with all things supplied - like detergent and dryer sheets. There was even a throw blanket we used. I now am in the market for the makeup washcloth it was so amazingly soft. There was plenty of towels including beach towels to use for the sauna. And we even managed to sneak in use of the firepit even though our time including rain each day. The convenience of the grocery store just a mile away was great (even though it's an expensive rural store), and Dollar General was one mile further - I needed to stop there too as my husband forgot his much needed belt. We also enjoyed drinks on the top porch.

Out of all my vrbos this one had the least value for the price. Had less of a caring owner feel than corporate rental. I would maybe consider it again at half the cost. Driveway and location are not very good either.
