This was one of the best experiences I had with VRBO. The host was fantastic and so responsive with any questions I had. The place was amazing and you just can't beat the view. The town of Edenton was super cute and filled with history so it made for a great weekend getaway. Cant say enough good things about this propery.

Twins 13th birthday

We enjoyed everything about our stay, the house was beautiful and perfect for entertaining our local family. We all enjoyed fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. It was a great location. And we had a rainbow on our first and last day there

Everything was perfect!!! We loved the home and location. Jeff was an excellent host!!! We appreciate his attention to details! We found the home to be extremely comfortable! It had everything that was advertised and more. Thanks so much this house made our trip complete!

Jeff the host was wonderful! The house was clean and beds were comfy. The kitchen had every pot and appliance needed. The porch is very large with a gorgeous view of the sound. Will definitely stay again if in the area. We had a great time exploring OBX which is only a 90 min drive away! We also saw a pair of bald eagles everyday in tree in water in back.

Shortened Stay

We had a couple of issues with the house but the owner was FANTASTIC and made everything more than right bending over backwards to help us out especially when my wife became ill at the last minute. Would rent here again in a minute. Beautiful location! Great communication!

The property, both the house and the grounds, were impeccable. Clean, user friendly, and amazing. Jeff was very easy to communicate with during our stay for 1 week. We totally enjoyed the peace and quiet while listening to the sounds of nature. We loved playing table tennis on the porch which, by the way, is completely screened in. Not 1 bug or gnat gets in. Very very nice amd we will definitely be staying here again.

Peaceful Getaway

This was a nice peaceful house with spacious bedrooms and closets. The porch was by far the most used part of the house for us! A great view over the water on one side and this beautiful view of a field and forest on the other side! We got to see deer and even a spotted bear! Easy access into the water at the house but also just a short drive to Bertie Beach which we loved. We went into Edenton and had to try both coffee shops and the Italian restaurant. It was very charming and everyone was so nice! Would love to return!

Everything was amazing. The house was perfect, the view did not disappoint and the host was amazing with communication. The only downfall is, we don’t want to leave now!

My sisters and I loved the property. Very clean with nicely appointed bedrooms, adequate number of bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and we were pleasantly surprised by the short distance to Edenton. There was something for all of our personalities.Rocking chairs on the covered deck, privacy screen for the sleeper sofa, large tv in the great room. We really enjoyed our stay.
