We loved everything about our stay at Grand Lake. The house was clean and comfortable with room for everyone. The dock and outdoor spaces were beautiful. Excellent communication made our check-in extremely easy.

This was the best accommodations we have ever experienced. The property manager was very available to answer questions and the house was extremely well equipped. We loved it.

This property had everything we needed. Wonderful communication with property manager and the home was beautiful. My family had so much fun swimming and fishing at the dock and the kitchen and living space was big enough to accommodate all 12 of us. Would recommend!

What a great location to relax and unwind! Beautiful views and great accommodations!Communication with VRBO host was excellent! She responded quickly to questions and was very kind and helpful! We would definitely recommend this to others and look forward to staying here again!

Great property in great location!

We just spent 5 nights here for the 4th of July and this place is great! We had 4 adults and 5 kids and had plenty of space, we will definitely be back! Big clean house, outdoor patio and lower patio with fire pit table and nice stainless steel grill, huge dock with 3 slips and a huge area to hang out, eat, fish etc. Boat ramp super close and you are right next door to Sharkys and VIP pizza! Great communication with the host leading up and during our stay!

Location was excellent view was great had just about everything you could want! There were a few rooms the girls would have liked black out curtains in but other than that everything else was great!

This property looks like it was created by a designer. Plenty of room and a beautiful view. Easy checkin. The host is very responsive. Everyone wishes we had an extra night.

Perfect lakefront home. Cozy. Updated. Efficient. Ironic in a way--- I brought a nice boat, and a wave runner, though my guests spent most of the time just chilling on the deck and dock, rather than hitting the lake. It was so cool! Relaxing. The house was spotless. Surgical room clean. Lawn irrigated and manicured. Dock inviting. Private. The entire area is meticulously cared for. "Colony Cove" to the west is quite well maintained. Neighbors quiet. Over the years I have stayed in dozens of ABNBs, VRBOs, etc. San Diego. Durango. Silverton. Canon City. Osage County. Orlando. Daytona. Boston. Lake Geneva. Etc. As far as cleanliness, friendliness, and the feeling of being home, away from home, this place tops it all. Some thoughts that might be helpful, though not mentioned in the listing:--Two nice launch ramps close by. Hammerhead (south). Willow Park (north). Honor system. (Bring some cash.) Leave ten bucks in the steel box. Walking distance back to the house. Can leave the vehicle/truck. --Which brings up the point. Limited parking at the house. Best not to try to pull in with a boat trailer. A wave runner trailer is ok. Though plenty of parking nearby for a full size trailer. My suggestion......go down to Willow Park. Say "hi." Park your boat trailer there. --My boat trailer needed some work---the carpet on the rails was worn. Just to the west is the shop of Darby Taylor. His crew did an excellent job on my trailer.

Great House

Booking and checking in were both great and easy. House has 5 spacious bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Lots of space to spread out and gather, depending on your needs. The upstairs ac wasn’t 100% but Daryl is aware and will get it checked out. Plenty of kitchen utensils, pans, dishes and towels throughout the house. Dock worked for us with a 28’ Cobalt. We were barely able to fit in the open slip but we did! House is right next door to Sharkey’s. We enjoyed walking over there in the evenings to listen to live music. The only other downfall was hauling away our own trash or get a 100 fine. We weren’t aware of that prior to checking in. And the place it says to take it to was closed for the holiday. Thank goodness we had room in the truck bed to haul it 3 1/2 hours home. I did message Daryl afterwards and she said we could have brought it back to the house at that point. But we were already on the road. Overall great place! And we would love to book again in the future! Thank you.

Thank you so much for the review and the helpful information. We are so sorry that the AC wasn’t 100%. Unfortunately, because of recent storm activity one of the main breakers had been tripped and we were unaware of the problem. The upstairs AC unit is working properly now. Based on your feedback, we have changed the policy for garbage removal and have implemented garbage pickup service for the property. We hope you will be able to stay with us again soon.

Property is as presented. Great space indoor and out. Well equipped kitchen. Dock, deck, etc are great. Having VIP Pizza and Sharky’s Bar next door was great on one hand - we ate there and it was excellent. Sharky’s Bar had live music Friday and Saturday night. It’s pretty loud even inside the house and there is a lot of boat traffic coming in and out. Music did end by 11 or 12 so it wasn’t all night.

We had a wonderful time at the house. Everything was as we expected and we felt the pictures were very accurate. Loved the location and the dock. An upgraded ladder for easier water exits would be our only wish. We were pleased to find the master and 1 additional bedroom and bath on the main level.
