We certainly do not cut corners when it comes to linens, towels, or guest comfort, but we will absolutely review the inventory at this cabin to make sure there are not any older or worn items still in rotation that need to be replaced. We are glad to hear that you found the home lovely, roomy, and beautiful, and that you enjoyed the outstanding view and its tough to get such a poor rating for things that are disclosed or should be expected. This cabin is located in a rural mountain setting near the national park, and pest activity can increase at times, especially after heavy rain which happened during your stay. We appreciate you notifying us during your stay and are glad our team was able to have pest control respond right away to address the concern. Bear activity is common throughout the Smoky Mountains and is not specific to this property. While seeing bears can be part of the mountain experience, we always encourage guests to use caution, and closely supervise children when outdoors. The roads and driveways in the area can be steep and winding, as is common with mountain cabins. We note this in the cabin description.
