Cleanliness

House needs a woman’s touch. The Backyard needs to be landscaped, it looked messy. Just not aesthetically pleasing. The house needs to be cleaned By a woman. Areas that needed to be cleaned (table upstairs, stove, shower door) Robert the manager was attentive and helped immediately.

life threatening,

there's to much to list in regards to the property. however, I will let be known that the railing on the stairs at the top came completely off, causing a family member to fall backwards and severely hurt herself..

Accused

The house floors were sticky the pool was full of debris and leaves . The person in charge went inside the home while our stay was still in place and started to accused us of clogging the pool filter when there was already all kinds of stuff inside the pool the kids probably used it for a good 4 hours during the whole stay since the weather was cold and we where most of the day at the park due to a soccer tournament. I didn't appreciate him going inside because that creeped me and my family out knowing he went in with out our permission.

Poway visit

The property is very spacious. Easy to hold many people. Location for was good for our needs. We did not use the kitchen, but it had all the appliances you would need. We did not use the outdoor amenities due to the weather and the pool was closed.We would stay again.

Not as presentable

We arrived in the rain at the exact time, because we were told if it were even a minute prior we would receive a 20 feeThey never gave us the code to enterWe had to wait in the rain for 10 minutes before receiving it after arrival time.The home is spacious and could be beautiful if it were cleaned better. No coffee maker No laundry, no heat for a chilly evening and the floors were dirty. The home has not been cleaned for months

Terrible experience

The check in was fine, the property manager (Robert) was kind and responsive- he brought over new sheets to replace the dirty ones; however, the property was not clean upon our arrival. The property OWNER implied that my standards were too high, but the long, dark hair all over the floor, dirty sheets and floors, and multiple (3) press on nails found around the house would likely not meet anyone’s standards. He additionally told me the property is on the market, and we “must” make it available for showings if any were scheduled. We complained to VRBO and checked out early. Completely unacceptable experience.

Don't waste your money

After paying for the rental, i looked at the reviews listed, A LITTLE TOO LATE. I contacted the host to make sure that the house was thoroughly cleaned because the reviews were terrible. He contacted me and stated it is clean. When we got there the kitchen table along with all the dishes and utensils were greasy like they haven't been cleaned in ages. Also the plank floors were obviously not cleaned in a long time since my husband's white socks were black after walking on it for a few minutes. There was mold in the shower. As far as the bedding, I couldnt have been more disgusted. I dont believe the sheets were cleaned and the pillowcases smelled like they poured a bottle of cheap cologne on them. there were holes in the blankets. Do not believe anything the host tells you because he is not honest. BE AWARE

Not a great stay but gracious host.

Beautiful property that was as described and shown in listing, great parking, host very timely in responding. Host was also very gracious in not cancelling stay despite extra guests. Did not receive a check-in instructions prior to check-in time. The arrival guide was not available after booking and confirmation and day of arrival. The hosts response time was very quick when inquiring about how to access the property but was not able to provide the arrival guide. Was not able to locate the house binder with amenities details, policies, and checkout instructions until after cleaning morning of departures in a drawer in a bedroom. Policies in the binder differed from online listing. House was not thoroughly cleaned. Dirty dishes in sink and dishwasher upon arrival, rotten fruit left in fridge, soiled sheets on bed in upstairs bedroom from leak in the ceiling. No disclosure of cameras on listing. Had to call vrbo support for information on cleaning and checkout instructions. Extra guest fee incurred and gladly paid but no disclosure of how damages fee was incurred but also gladly paid for. Listing just needs to be updated, house needs better cleaning upon arrival and arrival guide needs to be accessible and would receive 5/5 stay. Overall not a great stay but great host.

Pictures are deceiving. Worst stay at a rental property I’ve everything ever experienced!!!

This is by far the worst rental experience I have had and was extremely disappointed especially because we had to deal with this while dealing with the loss of a beloved family member. The pictures in the post are extremely deceiving. Each room was dirty and filthy. The couch was so nasty that no one even dared to sit on it.There were no check in instructions. We arrived and contacted the host who provided us WiFi instructions but nothing for the heat or any other information. Only one room had heat so everyone in the house was cold. Every room looked messy including the showers and it looked like there was another group prior to us and no one came to clean. Some sinks didn’t even have soap. Even in laying in the beds you can smell the previous occupants cologne or perfume and see dirt and flakes and it was extremely uncomfortable. There were only enough towels for 3 out of the 8 occupants. Lastly, in the middle of the night one of the rooms started leaking and got my family member and her clothes wet while sleeping in bed. Book elsewhere if in the area. If you do decide to book here I hope you have a better experience that what me and my family had to deal with while we were grieving.
