Family of 17, back for a repeat stay. This house fits our needs to a T. Lots of space for the large and active group and yet you can find privacy when you need it. Lots of recreation gear and room to use it. This is a great house on a great lake.

Great home for large group of couples and friends to enjoy over a Clemson football wkend! We had plenty of room, the large sofa in the family room was great for all the guys. The women enjoyed sitting on the porch or around the kitchen table. The kitchen is well stocked with all needed items to prepare meals and the grill was great to have as well. The homeowner was quick to respond to any questions we had in advance. The Wifi was pretty weak but other than that the home is good for large groups. We will be back!

Because of the weather, we unfortunately did not get a lot of time outside. A covered porch or awning might have been nice to sit outside & stay dry. Access to dock can be tricky & steep when wet. Kayaks were enjoyable & pool table/pingpong table passed time nicely. Bring own tissues.

a beautiful lake house near Clemson

This home fit our large party of 16 so well. We enjoyed our stay while attending a Clemson game and then enjoying a warm lake day in November with kayaking and fishing. It was comfortable and provided all we needed. The owner did a great job communicating with us and the property was quiet and peaceful.

One of the best weekends we have had

I can’t say enough about the hosts. They were understanding accommodating and welcoming. The house was beautiful and in a perfect location. Absolutely everything we needed was there. I would go back in a heart beat! Very grateful.

Perfect graduation

We came from the Midwest for our daughter’s graduation. We had an amazing stay at this lovely, well equipped home. There were plenty of things to entertain people of all ages, such as kayaks, SUPs, pool table/ping pong table, bags. In addition, the host provided all the household items you may need. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is exactly what it looks like and is described. We rented this for our immediate family Thanksgiving Weekend. We had lots of kids under 5 years old and felt plenty safe and comfortable. The abundant parking, space for eating, fire pit and kayaks were all highlights for us. The check in and out process could not have been easier I 100% would recommend this property for a family stay or a Clemson Tiger Game!While visiting we took the kids to the Oasis Mini Golf Ranch, 10/10 recommend, and adults went to Keowee Brewery which was an easy drive.

Annual Family Lake Weekend

We LOVED this house! The eight bedrooms, large kitchen, game area (fun competitions up there!), and eating areas fit our family dynamics perfectly. The dock easily accommodated our pontoon. Joe was super great with answering questions and general communication. The house was VERY clean when we arrived and the check out instructions were easily followed. We hope to come back here next year!

Overall the property was a 9!Can give it a 10 since we could not use the outdoor fire pit and the path to the dock was not steady. Too much mulch and covered the path. 3 of our family members had walkers and could not enjoy the dock area due to no secured pathway.Overall we had a great time!

Very spacious and well stocked home.Communication with the host was excellent.There was an issue with the path to the dock.The path was mulched and with the rain it was very slick.The dock is in a shallow cove and the water level was low making the steps onto the dock steep and dangerous.This home is beautiful and very well kept but the dock situation was disappointing.

Family Thanksgiving

Our family all got together at this house on Keowee Lake to celebrate Thanksgiving. The whole place was spotless when we arrived, and we were pleased to see how well stocked the kitchen was with pots and pans, and a variety of cooking utensils and electric appliances. Even though it was cool in November, we still enjoyed sitting out on the deck. We will certainly come back here again, although probably when the weather is a little warmer. The lake is beautiful, but in November, it was too cold for most of us to go Parral boarding or kayaking. The new owner was wonderful and responded immediately to any of our questions or requests.

Very spacious home. Loved having all the bedrooms. Kitchen was very well kept, had more than enough room to cook meals hang out and every utensil, pot and pan you could need. Extra ice maker came in handy. Everyone loved the house and had a great time! The kayak, pad and paddle boards were a hit with everyone! Finding that the dining room table also had a game side was a pleasant surprise! We enjoyed playing dice games using it. The kids loved all the toys and pool table and ping pong! Plenty of outdoor deck seating and umbrellas for everyone! I could go on and on. Would stay again without a doubt.

Great property! The host was responsive and helpful (although we had no issues). Check-in and out was a breeze. It has a very well-equipped kitchen and a large and easy to access gas grill, So, we cooked inside some and we cooked outside as well. And we had inside dining and we had outside dining. There are loads of entertainment opportunities in and out of the house. For a 4 day stay with 7 kids I think we had 1 TV turned on one time for a couple of hours total and only on that 1 night. This is a very big house. We had a large family gathering and the 8 bedroom/3 levels worked very well for our crowd. Private space, small-group space and whole-group space was all available. Keowee is a beautiful lake. We are highly likely to return.

This is a beautiful home with tons of space for large families. Very well stocked, comfortable beds, lots of room for everyone to spread out or be together. I do wish the dock area was deeper, as we couldn't jump off the dock or even really swim there. The boat needed to be manually pulled in. But I was aware of this going in and you can see from the pictures that it's at the end of the cove. We had a fantastic time out on the lake and we just loved this house! Joe is an excellent host and always answered my questions immediately. Do not hesitate to rent this beautiful home!
