We're glad you enjoyed Emerald Beach's location and convenient access to the beach and nearby restaurants, though we're sorry that several aspects of the unit affected your stay. Regarding Hurricane Isaias, bringing the patio furniture inside was a precaution to protect the furniture and property during the storm. We understand that having the furniture inside took up valuable space during your vacation. While there was no mandatory evacuation in place for your area, we did provide a partial refund for the days your stay was affected by the hurricane. As for the water sensor, to our knowledge, Emerald Beach units are equipped with these sensors as part of the property's water protection system. We understand that having the water temporarily shut off when moisture is detected can be inconvenient for guests, but the system is intended to help prevent potential water damage. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the dining light, shower door, bunk bed mattresses, and dryer. We have shared these concerns with the appropriate team so they can be reviewed. We understand that you found communication with our team frustrating. The hurricane and its aftermath significantly affected our operations, but we recognize how important timely communication and assistance are to our guests.
