The interior of the home was very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable as well. We did have to clean off the front patio furniture ourselves in order to sit outside on the front deck and enjoy the view of the river. Just be aware that apparently the front of the house and front deck get dirty very quickly because of the close proximity to the river.Overall, this was a wonderful stay and we would book a stay here again.

Cozy Cottage

Beautiful views of the Mississippi. Away but not too far from the hustle and bustle of Main Street. Furnishings are very nice. Host welcomes you with her personal touches. We stayed during 4th of July weekend and watched fireworks from the deck. Definitely recommend this place

Good except.

The house was clean and neat. The showers need hot water. You got very little and for a short time. I think the valves need replacement.

Sorry you had an issue with the hot water. I wish you would have told me while you were here. The cottage uses a tankless water heater and some times you have to run the hot water in the bathroom sinks and shower to get the water flowing if the water heater has sat idle for a time.

We really enjoyed our stay, like Goldilocks, this cottage was just right. The first impression at the front door is a deck with a great river view. Inside a large living area with plenty of comfortable seating. The dining room had a table and chairs large enough to eat or play games. The coffee bar was nice, I did wish it had a chair or bench to read and relax by those windows. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The best part was having a bathroom in each bedroom. We were told of the on-demand water heater, and since we have one, that was not an issue for us. Very well taken care of, clean, lots of towels, and even some snacks. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful place in Grafton.
