Corolla is Calling has everything you could need and more. Our family enjoyed the short walk to the beach, pool, hot tub and amenities. The owners were great to communicate with and were very helpful and even left a goodie bag on the counter to welcome us. We loved the house and would highly reccomend.

Great location! Seconds from the beach, and a couple minutes the other way was the fresh water canals. Everything you need is there. Great hosts, great stay. We look forward to coming back!

We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to go back! The house is beautiful and so close to the 4x4 beach. We saw so many horses and even one in the backyard by the pool! My kids loved the hot tub and the pool and want to go back with us soon! Thank you for being such great hosts!

The Whites were perfect hosts! Staying in communication with us and ensuring we had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation. Exceptional property which includes linens, extra blankets, a fully equipped kitchen, family games, and chairs/tents/toys for your beach visit. One of my favorite memories is being with my entire family at the large dining room table for breakfast each morning before we headed out for the day. The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. We were able to drive and park on the beach (2 passes included), and a short walk to the beach from the house. We enjoyed seeing the sea turtles, dolphins, and the horses (who visited us at the house); we were overwhelmed with the magic of the OBX. We are calling 2026 our OBX family beach adventure !!

"Corolla is calling" was wonderful, it was the final destination of our 2 week road trip. The home did not disappoint, very clean, fresh linens on the comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, all the comforts of home.The pool was nice but the water was a little cold. The location is amazing, saw wild horses on a daily basis as well as beautiful sunrises every morning. The host's Jen and Gary were very good, A communication from the moment we booked to the time we checked-out. They even left a goodie bag for our grandkids which was a big hit. Already checked availability for next year to return.

Great Vacation

We had a great time at Corolla is Calling! Space was perfect for multi family vacation. We got numerous visits from the wild horses right under the house, including a baby! The pool was a great place to cool down after the beach. The house had everything we needed plus more!

A beautiful home with all the amenities you need. The location is a perfect mix of privacy and the close proximity to the ocean makes it easy to get into the waves with an easy walk. The extra games, puzzles, and movies gave us something to do during a rainy afternoon. The pool and hot tub are well maintained. This home exceeded our expectations.

Our stay at “Corolla is Calling” was wonderful! This was our first year staying in the 4x4 Carova area, and we were blown away by the beauty and seclusion of the area. It’s a less than 10 minute walk from the house to the beach or only a few minutes’ drive. Our family is used to lugging everything—chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and sand toys—a good distance, if we’re lucky enough to find close street parking, so the ability to drive directly onto the sand and have hundreds of feet of space from the next family made it feel like we had a private beach to ourselves. Since we traveled with four littles, it was also so convenient to spend a few hours at the beach then head back to the house to cool off in the pool or unwind in the hot tub. Then we’d go back to the beach in the evening to catch the sunset and look for some shells. We spent most of the week barefoot and spotted several wild horses on multiple occasions! The house, especially the kitchen, was very well stocked, so we were able to cook the majority of our meals at home. We even used the outdoor grill to make burgers and salmon. The kids also loved the many board games and Jenga blocks, and our two fur babies loved lounging on the decks. This house was perfect for our family, and the hosts were very welcoming and responsive. We would love to stay here again!

Getaway with friends

The amenities were amazing. Everything we needed was there. The pool was great. Would have enjoyed the hot tub too but during a heat wave it was missed. But we were vacationing with family friends so having 2 master bedrooms made it easy for us. The host were terrific communicating. I cant wait to go back!

We had a fantastic time at Corolla is Calling! The property had everything our big family (plus our fur babe) needed. The horses made several visits during our stay. The property is located in convenient and quiet location of the beach. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub during the cloudy and cool days/evenings and made good use of the big charcoal grill. The highlight of our trip was getting to see a turtle nest hatch! Jennifer and Gary answered any questions quickly throughout the booking process and during our stay. Overall, 10 out of 10 experience!!

Peaceful

Corolla is Calling was a great space perfect for our family of 7. Loved hearing nature all day! Very clean upon arrival. Was a little too rainy and chilly to use the pool but we used the hot tub. Was great that it was under a covered area so it was able to be used even in the rain. The horses visited the back yard. Loved that spices and those little things you are bound to forget were provided. Great supply of board games! Thank you Gary & Jen for hosting us!

The house was great for our needs. There were 3 couples and 4 little boys. Plenty of bathrooms. The pool was very nice! The kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls , etc. The beach was very close. The only con would be the top bedroom got warm, but I think if the ceiling fan was tightened it would be ok. Overall the house was great. The hosts were very kind and always got back to me quickly if I had any questions. The last 2 days were especially nice since the wild horses came to visit us. I would recommend Corolla is Calling to anyone wanting to go to the Outer Banks.

Lovely Week at Corolla is Calling!

We were really impressed with the ease of communication with the owners during our stay. They gave us all the information we needed ahead of our trip - super helpful! At one point during the week we texted to ask a question and they responded immediately. So helpful!The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were a really nice size! There were so many extra kitchen amenities (ice machine, air fryer, beverage fridge, etc.) The owners add so many extra little touches, you can tell they care about their renters! There was even a little gift bag with a thank you card! Really sweet. We had several horses in the backyard on a couple different occasions, grazing on the grass and in no hurry to leave. Really cool!The pool was refreshing and there were lots of inflatables and games we could play. We lacked nothing and were pleasantly surprised at the care put into our stay! Thank you for a wonderful week!

The house is clean and in good condition. No complaints! Nice beds, new pillows. Lots of space and everything we could need to have fun. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Loads of games, smart tvs in every room, beach chairs and toys.
