Bay Haven was a wonderful delight! The view was gorgeous and sunrises from the deck were often breathtaking but always beautiful. The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Management and the host was very responsive if we did need anything, and a pleasure to meet and talk to. Everybody who visited love the everything about Bay Haven! Thanks for a great vacation!!

The owner was super nice and accommodating. Everything was clean, the house is very spacious including the bedrooms. The decor is simple and the view is stunning. We rented kayaks and kept them on the dock for the entirety of the trip. The dock is massive. We took chairs down there every evening to relax. We would definitely come back!

Weekend in Maine

Great vacation spot. We came in from Wednesday through Saturday. Quick drive to town for dinner, groceries, etc. We only wish it was a bit warmer to be able to enjoy the deck and hammock outside. Loved this house!

Beautiful location with great views of the water and expansive front porch with Adirondack chairs. Visited the local attractions like the Giant Stair Case, Lands End, sail boat trip, Maine Maritime Museum, Popham Beach. David and Mary, property managers, were very responsive to any of our requests.

We loved the house and location! We felt like the downstairs carpet was in pretty bad shape and the downstairs king comforter should have been retired a long time ago, the code to the lockbox that we were provided was incorrect but we were able to enter through an unlocked door.No trash bags could be found and the refrigerator was extremely loud (dying fan?) but all in all, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay with incredible views!

THE GOOD: The location was lovely, and sunrise views from porch the best. Easy access to charming local attractions and some great eateries. House was very spacious and clean, and location was quiet and mostly private. Beds were very comfortable and appeared to be fairly new. Plenty of towels, and lots of kitchen goods so that it is easy to cook meals at the house and dine either at the table inside or the picnic table positioned outside on the large front porch. Great having a washer and dryer available for use during our stay.THE NOT AS GOOD: Shared driveway parking with a long term renter, who occupied an apartment over the attached garage. He was very nice, but we should have been informed he would be on-site during our stay. The downstairs master bathroom was very nice, but upstairs bathroom shower had no pressure and sometimes would trickle to nothing within minutes of your getting in the shower. While the house was spacious, the furnishings were extremely dated. No bedside tables in upstairs bedrooms. No chairs or seating in any of the bedrooms.

Our goal is a for you to have the very best experience possible. We will address the water issue today so it will be remedied for future guests. We do have 24/7 contact and are happy to get our technicians in to resolve any problems as soon as possible. We do show the listing pictures with the furnishings onsite at the property. We are thankful for your suggestions regarding chairs for each room and bedside tables. Regarding the renter, there is a note on the VRBO listing page that there is a second rental property over the garage. Thank you again for highlighting issues of concern so we may address them for future guests and we are sorry we were not able to serve you during your stay.
