This is one of the most impressive places we have stayed, it is the first time we didnt feel the need to do a quick wipe down when we arrived and it over delivered in everything. It is close to town while still giving the impression it was secluded in a little piece of nature. There really are no words for how much we enjoyed spending our vacation here and we will definitely return. Thank you for going above and beyond with this location and home and sharing it with us!

Exactly as advertised. Beautiful house and incredible views. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace, shuffleboard and huge kitchen island. Communication with the owners and instructions given was excellent.

This was easily one of the best cabins we’ve ever stayed in—we had an amazing time. We’ve experienced cabins with movie theaters and pools that still didn’t come close to this one. The attention to detail, thoughtful design, beautiful decor, and clear focus on guest comfort made it feel truly luxurious. We didn’t encounter a single issue during our stay—something that’s rare for us after more than 12 years of traveling. It would honestly be a mistake not to stay here.

This cabin was absolutely perfect! Modern, upgrades everywhere, but also the most comfortable and cozy we have ever been away from home. Great communication with the owners and a seamless check-in and checkout process. 1000% would recommend !

The house was exactly like the images! It was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed the sound of the river below, the mountain view, and the stargazing at night. This is a really great house if you’re looking to unplug and unwind! There is no access to the river, which was something we were looking forward to since my son loves to fish, but we just fished at the lake instead. The kitchen is great…but could use some additional bowls and we were hoping for muffin tins. There is a new Keurig which makes hot or iced coffee but take your own k cups.

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend at this cabin, and it was wonderful! Everything was clean, fresh, and felt brand-new. The space was cozy and inviting, and the view of the river was absolutely beautiful, such a peaceful backdrop. One helpful tip for future guests: if you plan on using the outdoor fireplace, be sure to bring your own firewood. The host was friendly, responsive, and very accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

Birthday trip

Came here to celebrate a birthday with my partner and parents. This property is absolutely amazing as soon as you walk in you’re met with great views and a clean smelling house. Already planning a return trip. Also, can’t wait until the stairs are complete for direct access to the river.

The home was extremely well maintained and extremely clean. Every room was put together nicely and required. No additional effort upon moving in Heather and MIKE were extremely helpful as hosts and helped us when we needed to extend our stay by one day. The kitchen is magnificent, and the island is large enough to accommodate many people. There are flatscreen televisions everywhere, upstairs and downstairs and even games downstairs as well as three fireplaces. The location is excellent and makes it easy to get around Hayesville. We would definitely book this home again and in fact already have for a return trip. On several mornings when we looked out the kitchen window, it was fascinating to watch the local deer right in the front yard, feeding on the leaves. Thank you, Heather and MIKE for being such great hosts. You absolutely couldn't ask for a nicer home in a nicer location with nicer owners. Thanks again from edee and Marc.

We loved our stay at this cabin! Everything felt new, fresh, and spotlessly clean from the moment we walked in. The mountain views were amazing - you almost feel like you're sitting in a treehouse while relaxing on the back porches. We loved starting and ending each day outside, enjoying the peaceful scenery and the mountain breeze. We can only imagine how cozy it would be to sit by the outdoor fireplace during the fall or early spring.The walk down to the river is a bit of a hike, but it was worth it. Our boys had a blast swimming there every afternoon. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to cook meals during our stay. We also appreciated how easy the TVs were to use, and having one in every room was a great bonus.The beds were incredibly comfortable - and we're pretty picky when it comes to mattresses and pillows! It's obvious that Mike and Heather have put a lot of thought into every detail and have chosen quality furnishings throughout the cabin.Communication with Mike and Heather was excellent. They were responsive, attentive, and wonderful hosts. I accidentally left a piece of jewelry behind, and they contacted me right away and are mailing it back to me. Their kindness and attention to detail were truly appreciated.This was one a great place to stay, and we can't wait to come back!
