What an adorable riverside cabin! Its location makes it feel very secluded and remote, but downtown Hayesville is just a few minutes away. Fat Dog was great for lunch. A wonderful weekend getaway!

We loved our stay. The home was super clean and very cute. The back porch was so nice for relaxing. While there we spotted so much wild life by the river. The home is just a couple blocks from downtown, but feels like the being in the country,

Cozy cottage which had everything we needed. Loved the back porch. Location was less than 5 minutes to the supermarket, restaurants and gas station.

The place surpassed our expectations. The location is perfect with nearby restaurants and grocery stores. It was very clean and the size of the house was perfect for the four of us. We would definitely recommend this property and will absolutely return.
Vanity in master bath. Lots of storage.
Master Bedroom with large dresser and storage.
Beautiful screened porch with firepit right next to the river.

This is a beautiful rental, right on a river. It is very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay in this well on comfortably decorated cottage. We certainly will return if our travels bring us again to the very western part of NC.

Loved the location and the property was delightful. The back porch listening to the sounds of the river was our favorite part!

House was fantastic for our month long stay away from Florida heat. Isolated and quiet yet minutes from lovely Hayesville. House was on the river and we loved every minute. Screened porch was our “go to” place for AM coffee, reading, relaxing, and afternoon wine. House stocked extremely well(kitchen, towels, etc.). We loved Hayesville and Hiawassee. My sister and I also fly fished Fires Creek, Mission Dam, Tusqiutee Creek & Nantahala River. Tough summer fishing but it is “fishing “. If I could give more stars than 5 for Wood Haven I would. Theresa was wonderful and very responsive. One of the best VRBO’s I’ve experienced.

Perfect place for a getaway

This beautiful cottage is perfect for a peaceful getaway. The screened in back porch provides a beautiful view of the river. We saw many birds and bunnies during our stay. The house was very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a nice grocery store very close by as well. I plan to stay again next time I am in the area.

This is perfect cabin for a long weekend getaway. We visit this area often and It is close to all our favorites places. The property is located on the river making for perfect views from the screened in porch. The cabin is clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to add a seating area around the outside fire pit but there is a gas fire pit on the back porch. It was a great property and we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time. The cottage is so cute.Always clean. Our girls trip was awesome. We spent days and evenings sitting on the back porch listening to the river and playing card games.Looking forward to next time.
