The Space:
Welcome to Clayton’s Corner at Las Verandas unit #307, offering larger square footage than the average 2 bedroom condo you will find. This condo is perfect for families, accommodating up to 6 people (total including children).
The condo has new paint and many new furnishings, though it is not a complete remodel the larger size & awesome patio with the Blackstone BBQ grill & great views more than make up for that.
Free off-street parking up to 2 vehicles.
The 3rd floor provides a great view of the pool area and spectacular sunsets on the bay. An elevator makes it easy to access the unit, providing an enhanced view and no noise from above.
The condo features all-tile floors, higher ceilings, and an eat-in kitchen with granite counters + the big space we described. A washer and dryer are in the condo for post-beach cleanup or traveling home clean.
We do offer off season discounts for stays over 4 nights Sept 2 to Dec 20th, as well as active military & tackle football coach discounts. Just contact us we would love to hook you up if you qualify.
For those who need to work, the counter is suitable with high-speed WiFi (though sometimes spotty on the Island from Spectrum) it usually is fine. The bedding includes a king in the master, 2 single beds in the 2nd bedroom as bunks, a queen bed, a couch (not a sleeper), and a double-sized airbed and pump (bring extra bedding if you plan to use couch or airbed all other bedding is provided. The condo has 3 smart TVs.
The complex has a gated, coded entrance for privacy.
Las Verandas is also walkable to Clayton’s Beach Bar, Parrot Eyes, Bar Louie at the Courtyard by Marriott, Kelly’s Irish Pub, On The Border Cantina at Hilton Garden Inn, and Barry’s Beach Bar.
For family activities on a rainy day, visit the must see Sea Turtle Inc rehab project and visitor center, or take the kids to the SPI Birding Center and boardwalk to see Big Padre, the resident alligator below.
The Convention Center is about 1 mile away for those attending conferences.
Public beach access is about a block and a half away. Las Verandas offers a great pool and low short-term rental usage, making it ideal for families seeking a quieter environment – this property does require a 3 night stay.
Unit 307 is professionally managed by South Padre Trips locally at 2600 Padre Blvd 78597 here on the Island. We provide linens, towels, bedding, and a starter pack of toiletries, soaps, and dishwasher pods (though not replenished nor unlimited). For stays over 3 nights, we offer complimentary towel and linen exchange at our office.
1 dog up to 25 lbs is allowed, though it may not be left alone to bark. The maximum occupancy is 6 people, including infants and babies.
Las Verandas, though close to bars and concerts, is not a party complex and is set up for families. BBQ on the premises is not allowed by the pool, but the Blackstone BBQ grill is on your private patio. Loud music is not allowed at any time. The complex is family-oriented.
Our listing requires the primary tenant to be 25 years of age or older to book and be present at check-in. Subletting is not allowed.
We require an e-sign rental agreement with an attached photo ID after booking to maintain our City of South Padre Island Rental License. Sign via Docusign before arrival to receive a door code. Provide your email address and photo ID to verify age.
The South Padre Short-Term Rental License number can be provided upon request. If you have questions, please message us before booking.
