My two weeks at the river house were more than expected. The house is comfortable and well stocked. Communications with the innkeepers was excellent. Doug and Marian were extremely helpful and available on a minutes notice.My family and I made beautiful memories and will definitely plan on another visit.

Doug was communicative and so friendly and helpful. We arrived at night so the drive back was a little scary, but by day it is absolutely stunning and worth the drive. We even got to meet one of the llamas! Gorgeous sunsets and wildlife to enjoy from the deck and everything we needed inside. Highly recommend if you're staying in this area!

This property was down a long lane and pretty secluded. It has a wonderful view of the dock on the water and beautiful sunsets. It is two stories, 4 bedroom, 2 bath. We had a party of 5 and it worked out great. It has everything you need and then some. The host is wonderful to work with and was very helpful when we needed anything. Will definately be back for more exploring and adventures in the area.

Great getaway

The cottage was very cute and cozy, just as depicted on the site. Great views, wildlife and fishing. Everything was beautiful, and the owner Doug was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Very much enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Nice summer stay

Nice secluded location with private dock and beach that the kids loved. Only saw one jellyfish during our stay for the first week of July. Owner was very nice and responsive. Plenty of restaurants within driving distance.

Wonderful retreat

Our family had such a lovely stay at the river house/farm. The house itself is very comfortable and graciously supplied and managed - it's got everything you need, unlike many corporate rentals. The river is very quiet with very few houses nearby, a dock for swimming and kayaks for play. The surrounding towns are very charming as are the hosts and the farm. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Waterfront Getaway

This property is perfect for nature lovers and people trying to get away from life’s hustle and bustle. We saw bald eagles, heron, egrets & lots of jumping fish from the private dock. Sunsets were magical. We’ll definitely be back.

Great weekend getaway

We had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful property and enjoyed a lot of the outdoor activities. From hiking to canoeing, bird watching, playing in the river and visiting with the llamas, we never got bored. It is secluded yet just a few minutes away from the main highway in town. Doug and his family are friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Great Seclusion. Great Kayaking

Three 60+ couples loved this place for a four day fall retreat. It's beyond quiet, off the beaten track and has a great location just minutes from the bay bridge. Doug couldn't be a more charming host. Being on a working farm with Llamas and Emus has its plusses. The dock and sandy beach launch make kayaking a snap.

Lovely getaway

Cute cottage tucked back behind the llamas and emus at the main farm. More than enough space for 5 of us. Plenty of kayaks, SUPs, canoes with an easy launch area next to the dock. Just watch for the amazing huge orb weaver spiders in the evening on the dock and path down to it!

Quiet Eastern Shore MD

Very quiet and peaceful location but still near great places to see and eat at. Reed Creek has almost no traffic and very pretty to explore on the kayaks, canoes and paddle boards that you can borrow at the cabin. Creek is fun to swim in. Lots of farm stands around and cabin has everything you need to cook. My daughter loved walking the Lama's and there are great roads to bike on in the whole area.

Living it up with llamas

We had a fantastic time at Spring Cove Farm. There’s plenty to do, from chilling with the llamas to enjoying the beach, kayaking and hiking around the farm. The house is well equipped and Doug checks in to make sure you have firewood and other necessities. Highly recommend!
