Facile, accesso asfaltata a questa cabina proprio su una bellissima, correndo Trout Creek. Grande veranda coperta si affaccia direttamente sul torrente. Si può pescare a destra dal cortile! Ottimo posto per rilassarsi e rilassarsi! Molto ben arredato 4 camere da letto 2 cabine bagno. Grande sala con soggiorno, angolo con camino a legna e cucina grande paese. Voi in montagna, ma meno di cinque minuti a fidarsi Store e Cafe. Una posizione ideale per lanciarsi a molte attività in montagna.

Serene vacation spot.

Beautiful location, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Easy access with a secluded feeling. Great for family and relaxation.

Beautiful Hideaway

We came here for the weekend to go to Max Patch and we loved our stay! It was such a fun house to stay in and we were shocked at how close we were to Max Patch and other hiking places! Would totally come back!

Absolutely wonderful!!

This was the PERFECT getaway for me and my 3 girlfriends (ages 55-60+). The location was gorgeous ~ the bubbling brook was extremely soothing, the cabin was immaculately clean ~ everything supplied to make it a very comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this cabin & I’m hoping we’ll come back there sometime!!!!!

Amazing!

This place is nice and cozy and very spacious and has all the amenities that you’d want for friends and family to spend the weekend in the mountains. Very close to Hot Springs as well as Max Patch.

Relaxing

The photos are spot on for this place. So peaceful and relaxing to sit outside, catch up with family and listen to and watch the creek go by. There was a cute family of muskrats we caught glances of during our stay. We will be back.

Amazing Experience!

The Cabin in Hot Springs, NC was simply amazing! We stayed the weekend with family and friends celebrating my wife's 38th Birthday. The crisp mountain air, the sound of the creek, the fire pit, and long outdoor patio were the highlights of our stay. So peaceful. We will definitely be back!

Quiet beautiful place. A jewel in the mountains!

House is very spacious, clean, well stocked and even better than the pictures showed! The creek is wonderful and surrounding area is breathtaking. The Trust General Store is also convenient and has some really neat things to look at and for sale. If you're looking for tourist areas or lots of restaurants this isn't the right one for you. Kara was a dream to work with. Can't wait to come back again!

A crackling fire and soothing sounds from the creek

Three sisters and a dear friend each had their own room but time to gather together to sit by the warmth of the fire and listen to the soothing sounds of the water from the creek. We had one incident, totally our fault, and the manager responded promptly. Definitely recommend for rest and relaxation.

Just like it looks in the pictures

We were very happy with our stay at this house. It is just like it looks in the pictures. The main living areas are big enough for family to sit together comfortably. The kitchen was well-equipped for most cooking. The beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. The best part of the house is the large back porch perfect for sitting and listening to the creek rush by. The house is pretty remote, but the roads are easily accessible. The area is beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again.

Cozy and beautiful location

We really enjoyed our long weekend getaway. Located close to Asheville and surrounding areas. We got to spend time downtown Asheville and on top of Mt. Mitchell. There are no stores close by so make sure to take food and drinks with you. The river behind the house was beautiful and the property is fully furnished with everything you need to cook, clean, and entertain. The property manager is very responsive. Cell service is non existent however the property does have WiFi and Tv.

Lovely cabin on the river

This cabin is just lovely... we spent most of our time on the back porch enjoying the sound of the river which is only steps away. Very peaceful location even though it is right on the road to Hot Springs.... very little road noise. The beds were comfy, the split bedroom layout was terrific (master suite was at one end of the house) and the place was really clean. The folks at the Trust General Store were super friendly! I'd make one suggestion about the kitchen... please add a colander to the kitchen supplies. :-) Wish we could have stayed longer but we're already talking about coming back. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Heaven on earth!!

The cabin is perfectly located on 209 and even though the road is right there, the creek drowns it all out. We enjoyed listening to the creek while drinking coffee, nights around the fire pit catching fireflies and seeing the deer and hummingbirds. It was truly the perfect get a way from our everyday busy life. It doesn’t have cell reception but being unconnected for a week was exactly what was needed. Kara and Pete were amazing host/property managers that have excellent communication and customer service!! It’s a short drive to max patch which was an amazing experience all should do! We will definitely be back to the creekside for many memories as it was the perfect vacation for our family!! 10 out of 10 recommend this place!

Creekside Mountain Comfort

Great getaway in the mountains. Well maintained and clean. Plenty of dishes, glasses and pots but might want to bring prep/baking pans if you wish to do that while there. Gas grill on back porch. Remote mountain feel. Plenty of property with fire pit (cut wood provided just find some dead sticks to get it started) and room to throw a frisbee or football. Creek is just off the porch with lots of large rocks to sit on and dangle your feet in the cool mountain water. Caught a trout about 8” each. (Get your NC fishing license online or at Trust General store) The Rattler is highway 209 for motorcycle or sports car enthusiasts. Great for our family of four with two teens. High speed internet was pretty good with bandwidth to have video calls and stream your favorite shows.

Creek side Cabin

It was a little hard to get key out even with code. We had never had to do this kind before. Had trouble with the commode in master bedroom. When you flushed the chain got caught under the stopper in the tank. Tried to call Pete called failed three times. Then the fire alarm in the living room started squeaking. Tried to call all it did was ring. Too cold in the house had to wear long sleeves or put blanket on even in daytime. Hate the beds they are too high when you are short like me and my niece. Had trouble calling and texting family!! Loved the porches and creek. House is nice but don’t want to come back!

Perfect Peace!

We hiked Max Patch and visited the stocked fishing pond just beyond the parking lot, about a 25-minute winding drive from the cabin. Experiencing the 360 degree mountain view is an absolute must. The rest of our stay was spent on the back porch overlooking the creek, eating, chatting, watching those of us who fished or dozing off to the sound of the water. It was wonderful to unplug and enjoy the house; it was perfectly equipped and neat as a pin. If you’re looking for peace and calm, this is it!
