I really enjoyed staying here! The yard was beautiful, and filled with birds, squirrels, and even a rabbit! And with the off-street parking, I didn’t have to worry about my car! We will definitely stay again! The only issue was there was only 7 teaspoons in the kitchen and we kept having to quickly wash them for meals.

This VRBO was an excellent choice for our family gathering. It was very clean, comfortable, in a safe location, and offered an abundance of dishware, cookware, utensils, and storage containers. Overall, a great stay!

Delightful House

This house was such a delight to stay in. It was bright, light-filled, very clean, and quiet. The kitchen and baths were so well stocked. The location is perfect for eating out, shopping and exercising. Staying here was truly the highlight of our vacation.

Beautiful Home

My stay at the property was delightful. The home was everything I hoped for. It has character and is located in a wonderful neighborhood. It has easy access to many restaurants and shops, as well as a short commute to downtown and major freeways. Laurie was a fantastic host and was very welcoming! I would definitely stay here again!

Great Portland stay!!

We were up for a home improvement week helping our kids with their older home, and stayed at this perfect home for our needs! Great quiet location, plenty of parking for two larger trucks on the street, super clean home, great bathrooms, roomy family room to relax after long days of work. We will definitely be staying here again as we come for future visits! A+++

One of my favorite places

This was our third stay. This time my 89 yr old Dad and his wife joined us. We had a wonderful time visiting my son and his girlfriend. We took walks, talked over coffee, cooked dinner, dined out, went on road trips, and played games in the house. It is the perfect house, in the perfect location. We love staying there.

Beautiful property in a wonderful neighborhood in Portland. Great outside gardens and dining area under a magnificent giant tree. Lots of room for getting together with family from different parts of the country. House was very clean and had everything we needed, i.e., pots and pans, kitchen gadgets, coffee maker and grinder, electric teapot, pour over coffee, etc. Hosts Laurie and Matt were very helpful and friendly.

This home is an excellent location for a Portland stay. The kitchen is well furnished for cooking, the second bathroom downstairs has a cozy wall heater, the beds and linens are clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the non-toxic toiletries and dish cleaning products. Communication with the host is effortless.

Annual Portland Visit

We stay here every year. We bring other family members to visit our adult children in the area. We love it. The house is perfect for our needs: clean, bright, spacious, comfortable, and well stocked. Laurie is lovely and helpful. There are improvements to the property every year, which means an already amazing stay keeps getting better. The location is convenient to great restaurants, shops, parks and walks. Use of the driveway and easy departures for day trips to vineyards, mountains, rivers, and the ocean make this a fantastic vacation spot.

Fabulous house !

The house was super clean and very, very well arranged for our family of 4 adults. Just fyi, there is a door at the botttom of the stairs to the 3rd bedroom, providing privacy. (We weren’t sure from the listing.) The residential neighborhood is beautiful, full of lovely craftsman houses. We loved walking to beautiful Laurelhurst Park every morning. We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood. The house is equally close to a huge Safeway in one direction and Whole Foods in the other. There are lots of restaurants close by. The a/c worked great during a heat wave.

Perfect location to see Portland

My sister and I came to Portland for our youngest sister's Memorial service. This has been a hard year. We decided to stay 8 days, spending 4 days visiting with family and 4 relaxing, walking, sightseeing and eating great food. This location was absolutely perfect! We walked to Jam on Hawthorne for a great breakfast and then walked to the Ladd Circle Rose Garden. We walked to Indian Oven for dinner. Grocery stores were close. We drove to downtown Portland which only took 15 to 20 min and went to the Saturday Market, Oregon Historic Museum, the Melting Pot Fondue Restaurant, to the riverfront for a luncheon cruise (best food of the trip) and to the Japanese Gardens. Location, location made our trip perfect. The house was comfortable. We enjoyed slow mornings and restful sleep. The beds and pillows were great. It was perfect for two sisters but would host a family as well. We didn't even use the upstairs. We rested and enjoyed Portland, thanks to this fabulous location. We highly recommend booking a stay. A perfect location for visiting Portland.

The property was centrally located surrounded by charming houses. The place was comfortable and plenty of room. The owner does live next door, and as we had an old friend visiting, I was concerned needlessly that our late night reminiscing might be disturbing. This never seemed to be an issue and we did respect the house rules as agreed upon. It is a clean, open space with room for up to 8, with 2 more beds upstairs. Having lived in Portland before, the location couldn't have been better. We absolutely had a great time!

2nd visit to this enjoyable rental in great location

This is a well equipped rental in a very walkable neighborhood. The bedrooms are cozy, the kitchen has most everything you might need, and the living room and dining room are light filled and lovely, looking out over the beautiful trees that make Portland such a visual treat. This is our second time visiting this house. It has maintained all of the attributes that I looked for the first time. The hosts are friendly, and get back to any inquiries quickly. We had a very relaxing get-away.
