This charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath lakefront cabin is nestled within the peaceful grounds of Wilderness Bay Resort, just minutes from the headwaters of the Mississippi at Itasca State Park. Our cozy cabin offers classic lake life comforts with plenty of room to relax and reconnect. Enjoy morning coffee or evening games on the screened porch, spend your afternoons fishing off the dock or swimming at the beach, and wind down with a lakeside sunset by the fire.

This Cabin is located on Little Mantrap Lake. The lake is spring-fed and known for its crystal-clear water and great fishing. You can find a variety of fish including Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Pan Fish, and More! The lake ranges from 10ft-40ft deep, which makes it a great spot to go boating, tubing, and swimming.

We had a wonderful stay. The property has so many accommodations for families-paddle boats, paddle boards, kayaks, a basketball court, board games and movies available to bring to your cabin in the office, bait available on site and a beach! Our cabin was very clean. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating to make sure you enjoy your stay. Our boys enjoyed fishing in the paddle boats and off the dock. It’s located just 10 mins from Itasca State Park and near Park Rapids. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for relaxing stay with their family.

The cabin was very quaint and cute. Beautiful spot right on the bay. kids enjoyed the Basketball/pickleball court. Swimming area with paddle boats and paddle boards. Every cabin has a fire pit and outdoor chairs. There is no Kleenex or paper towels. You’re expected to sweep and take all of your garbage out of the cabin prior to leaving. Overall easy check in process, but you do have to stop at the office to check in and sign a contract/get door code.

The cabin was clean, exactly as described and centrally located on the shoreline so we enjoyed watching the boats and wildlife coming and going. Our adult children were able to join us for a few days and were so happy that they could bring their dog. Because the resort is located off the main road, it was quiet and vehicles were limited to the occupants. We took one day and went to Itasca State Park which is only a short distance down the road. Our week flew by and we enjoyed it so much that we have reserved the cabin again for next year. Thank you to Scott, Jenn, Faith, and Alex for the warm welcome and to Baby G for the the cutest smile.
