This was a nice quiet retreat. The sun sets where unbelievable. I did do the trail hike with my son it was a nice hike, the temperature was hot.

Wonderful and peaceful location. The sunsets were amazing over the river on the back porch. Property was well maintained and clean. The host was responsive and easygoing. Would stay again. Bring the family and the dog.

Stayed here with family for my son’s college graduation from SMCM… I would highly recommend this property as it is stunningly gorgeous, meticulously cared for and only a mile or two from campus!

Beautiful view of Saint Mary’s River and a lovely home. The entire place was very inviting, felt like I was at Home back on the Chesapeake Bay. Very quiet and peaceful . Lots of trails to walk around. Enjoy fishing off of the dock. We would’ve loved to stay longer than five days, but we really enjoyed every minute of it. Can’t wait to go back! Host was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful waterfront home with a brand new pier overlooking the river and a perfect sunset. Quiet location, perfectly appointed and great location next to parks, St Mary’s City and campus. Highly recommend!

Spring time on the St Mary's River was great! Everything you need is in the house to self cater a long weekend or longer. House was in good working condition with comfortable space to spread out. Walking trails, river views, beautiful sunsets! Also, location in proximity to St Mary's College for the event we were attending was perfect. Would recommend!

Can’t Wait to Come Back (Again)!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful home, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The house is impeccably maintained, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are cozy, and every detail has been thoughtfully considered—from the clear labels throughout the home to the fully stocked kitchen and amenities. It truly feels like a home away from home. We had a fantastic stay and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Trey and his family should get a 10 star rating. I cannot describe how wonderful his place is. There was absolutely everything we could possibly need or want. The house is spotless and the views incredible. What a wonderful place! And yes, Trey always answered any questions i had immediately. Loved my little vacation there!

Perfect Family Getaway!

I recently stayed at this property and had a wonderful experience. Trey was a terrific host. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to St. Mary’s College. The water view and sunsets were amazing. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable and the host did a great job of stocking the house with everything we needed. The full kitchen with labeled drawers made cooking easy. The house was roomy and the beds were extremely comfortable. It is a great set up for families. Overall, I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

My family had a wonderful stay. Trey answered all questions immediately. We were amazed at the combination of beauty and convenience this property offered. We were so close to the visitors center and historic St. Mary's, and we visited several exhibition areas. It was very educational. We were very, very close to the college and drove through the campus. There was a small beach nearby, but no one went in the water due to an abundance of jellyfish. Walking trails galore. Several nice restaurants close by. We tried Courtney's and Salt. We were a short 30 minute drive from Solomon's Island and spent a relaxing evening there at the Island Hideaway and Brrrr Ice Creamery. Leonardtown is also a short distance, and we visited the old jail museum. The sunsets across the water were glorious. We spent every morning and evening on the screened in porch enjoying the views. My daughter will really miss the porch swing, it was her favorite spot. The dining room table was perfect for board games. Everything in the home was clearly labeled. We had everything we needed. I also want to mention that we there during a heat wave, with real feel temps of 107 but the house remained cool and comfortable. The bedroom windows let in a lot of light, so be prepared if you like to sleep in! However, there is so much to do in the area, you will want to get an early start! Great vacation spot!
